I can't find work - the markets have gone to hell and finding work is scarily difficult. I can't seem to get work in my specialist field (despite having an advanced degree, and just about to finish another - on top of solid commercial experience). I'm scarily broke and have just defaulted on my mortgage...which isn't good...and my mrs is getting more pregnant by the day.

So, I'm totally open to anything atm. If anyone has work to offer - please get in contact. Needs to be said that I'm after proper work...you know...the normal, above-the-board, kosher variety.

Stuff I can do:

- computers, networks, apps
- sales: can sell ice to an eskimo
- research: great research background, published
- project management: app dev
- retail: have managed shops, stock etc.
- video editing
and probably a few other party tricks I can't think of atm.

I'm hardworking, loyal and honest. Am willing to travel if needed but can't be away from the mrs for too long in her pregnant state. Have worked weeks away and weekends home before, and can do if needed.

If you need someone, give me a shout. I need work baaaad.

Open suggestion, get your ass to london, there are plenty of I.T related jobs, my m8 just turned down a 40k job related to web affiliation.

Plenty of work in london but it costs arm and a leg for rent in london so if you can cumute then your sorted.

You said you had a degree? Is it IT related? Any certifications whatsoever? Are you also in the US? Im in the IT field and I have never seen it booming this much. I do security consulting, small scale networks to large scale ones. I also do a lot of older unix based servers. Openvms, as400 all the crazy shit lol. Maybe I know someone in your area who could hook you up with a job.
