Endless Sky in flowering...

This is a strain that everyone knows of, few have grown and all smoke reports list it as a killer indica- as strong and maybe stronger than many of the OG's out there. Lately, it was reported that Dr. GreenThumb lost the mother (or parents) but I don't know if that is fact. But a number of complaints have surfaced that it's become more difficult to grow and early on is SUPER nute sensitive, when he chose parents and harvested a new crop of seeds a year or two ago. We'll see about that.

So, I spent $450 on 2 packs of feminized Endless Sky. They arrived quickly in 9 days to the U.S. 20 out of 22 sprouted, and 2 more are runts but still alive and suffering along in another flowering room. As always, 5 gallon pots, pro-mix, lime, worm castings, kelp meal, perlite with r.o. water pH'd to 6.2-6.3. Always add 5 ml of cal/mag in every gallon of r.o. water. Bontanicare Pure Blend Pro grow/bloom, with Great White every 10 days, and alternating Hygrozyme/Prozyme 5ml/gallon every watering. No fertilizing the first 3 weeks of life (except cal/mag), then to 300-350 ppm for 2 weeks. Vegged for 28 days and tonights pictures are day 10 in flowering.

Watered tonight with 500 ppm grow fert, which I'll continue to use until the first buds appear. They are very healthy, nice and green and starting their stretch period. They've grown at least 1 foot since flowering was induced........

Pictures up shortly and than weekly until they're cut and dry....

I'm subbed I cant Waite to see the results especially since I jus picked up a pack of bodhi's white sky witch is the white x endless sky holly shit 450 for 2 packs that's crazy but if it's worth it it's worth it I was thinking of getting dr G ecsd seeds since there suposed to be s1 of the original cut Yo Aussie I'd like to see your pics of the ecsd when there ready for sure

Here's the ES at day 12 flowering. They are stretching a bit now but very healthy and doing very well. Two pheno's are readily seen: a shorter version and a taller one. I separated out the tall/short...... 1st 2 pics on top are the taller ones and the bottom picture is the shorter version. There are a few oSannie's Hericules in the bottom picture too- they are the tall plants.

Hates nutes.......... extremely sensitive early on in veg. Love's cal/mag though and you'll need extra supplementation in veg if using r.o. water. Pictures aren't doing them justice- deep green all thru the plant. In 2nd week of flowering I'm at 500ppm and will bump up 50-100 ppm every week for the next month or so. I don't see myself going over 1000 ppm at any point. They are slow growers in veg, but took off a few days after turning back the lights. Figuring on a 2X stretch but may be a bit more. Adding Bontanicare Sweet now too at 5ml every gallon, which I forgot to mention above for carbs. Not much smell yet either. I also forgot to mention there ared 12 plants on each side of the room under 1000 watts H.P. digital and horizontally placed. Temps are in the 70's and humidity is low 60's today. Hand watered with love and affection. LOL

Yo SSSH that Endless Sky is looking nice. Always wondered about that strain.

I'm on my second run with Dr. Greenthumb's ECSD. Careful Ausie they stretch like nothing you've ever seen before first 2 weeks of flower. I had to hit em with Phosphoload both times around day 12. They produce huge colas man. I had some bud rot as a result but still pulled just over 17 zips on 3 plants. They were veged 6 weeks, topped, supercropped, and CO2 in 100% canna coco. Had 3 different phenos, all very nice in their own way. Sticky, sour and deiselly. Potency I would give a 6.5 out of 10. Taste an 8, smell a 9.

Ausie I like it bro. It kicks ass over the Sour D I've scored at dispensaries. And it blows doors on the Sour D my boy sold forever. The smell is right on. I wasn't exactly pheno hunting (popped 3 beans total and I'm on second round) and I'm happy with all 3 phenos. Guessing there's some gems I may not have found.

The 3 I'm running this round are beasts. Thinking I'll outdo last harvest by 20%. I don't think I'll be running it next round because I scored some OG Rascals White Fire as well as Fire Alien. Gonna run them with my SFV. The ECSDs take up a lot of room in my trays.

No problem on the ramble OG........ I haven't posted in this thread since I've been unhappy with my results so far. First off, to think that this pot is 7-8 week smoke is ridiculous. I have Mohan Ram (White Widow) from Sweet Seeds and Sannies Hericules along side of the Endless Sky and these others are weeks ahead of the ES. The taller ES pheno is looking a little better than the shorter pheno but both have airy buds and look like nothing from pictures I've seen in the past. Today is day 41 in flowering and I think all the ES will need a full 70+ days to finish up properly. As I stated before, I heard Dr. Greenthumb lost his initial parents of the strain and is reproducing seeds from new parentage, which could account for the disappointing results so far....... the shorter pheno won't yield shit either. I'll snap some pic's this afternoon and post them by dinner.........

I hear you north....... but the early reviews I read on this (from years ago) claim it's done in 50 days (a joke) with monster cola's the size of 1-2 liter coke bottles. I'm here to say that's all full of shit. Here's some pic's I just took at 41 days flowering. The 1st three are the taller pheno, the next 3 are the shorter pheno and the last pic is Sannie's Hericules, which I have 6 in the same room and they are much further along as a comparison.

And Sannie and Sweet Seeds are 2 company's that there beans are "basically" done close to what they claim, but generally I agree you need to add about 2 weeks to the claimed finish time for it to be properly finished. I'm letting all these go to 70 days and I'm cutting them one way or another because my Cream Caramel will be ready to go by then!

That does seem like kind of a disappointment so far SSHZ. My ECSD took over 80 days to finish, and one of them could have gone another 10 days. Your Hericules looks bomb bro!

I had a patient that was bugging me to get ES, I said wait a bit lets see some finished pics from an outside, unbiased source. Thanks for the post, this definitely helps me make up my mind. People need to be honest about their wares, (not saying anybody isn't) I see the Pitbull local, said to be a 30-35 day strain. I see it a little closer to 45 or so and still maturing. I'm not sure when the breeders crop, maybe cropping early for different medical effect. I just think if you say 50-55 days or 70-80 days, it should be pretty accurate. Not just the "early girls", to drive up sales.

DGT G-13. They are looking good, I have a buddy that has seen alot of G crosses he says this looks like G-13/NL. Who knows. They are looking really nice, but I am not allowed to make a G forum here.:evilgrin0040::anim_09: Hope you don't mind a bit of DGTs gear up here.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing about the Doctor's ECSD- 11-13 weeks is necessary.......but I recently read a very reliable grow report on the ES and the growers ES was done at 68 days, which I'm figuring on. They have pudged out quite a bit the last few days which gives me hope but the "airyness" of the buds has me worried. No mold on these babies for sure......

And yes, Sannies Hericules is a wonderful item. For the price, his beans may be some of the best out there.

Hey Trey..... look around I recently saw some discussion on the G13 on here- whether is was legit, etc. I grew the original in 1989-1990 for a year or two and it yielded better than anything I've ever grown. I've heard the quality has suffered over time but not the yield. The original was a med. to tall plant, the new one is short so I don't know what to think. But at $200 for 3 seeds, it better knock my socks off or I'd be pissed. Keep us posted on here if you'd like!!!!
