I found this plant around the farm plenty, and always look twice. I googled it and found it inconclusive. I stumbled across this one just outside of my large fire pit. I have found volunteers growing directly inside the fire pit in springtime before (Rainbow Belts, and Lemon Kush, from a previous grow). What do you think?

Looks like one of my famous gorilla grows come harvest.🤣🤣🤣

How'd you fair after the storm yesterday? I heard a pop just before going in the house and hubby says neighbors to the north of us have generators running.

It was pretty violent. Heavy winds, deck furniture blown everywhere. Huge trees bending, but I have not seen any damage. Temperature dropped at least 20+ degrees following. Hopefully everything is okay on your end.

I know I'm probably late, but I found one like yours in my yard too. It's called Sulphur Cinquefoil. (I asked google)

Your plants don't seem to mind the heat. Healthy, green and ready to take off.
Have you seen any clumps of pistils? I'm sure a few of mine are starting flowering, which is just fine with me.
They mind it. Last week I put the sprinkler on them twice for two hours one day (from 630pm to 8:30 pm, then blew them off with a leaf blower so they could dry before dark) and an hour another day. From 7:15pm till about 8:15. No blow dry for the second time. Just a good shake of the stem
I have a grape kush in ground that looks like crap, and the backup grape kush in the bucket already has what appears to be buds starting…I’ll try to get some pics later.
Tuesday they all got a gallon of rainwater, yesterday I didn’t water, because today was supposed to rain. They always look thirsty and when the sun is on them, they are hot too. I’m probably going to get the sprinkler out again this evening, despite the “rain”

I got one Cpurola that's flowering
Really? Wait, I just saw your plants in the Outdoor 2026 thread. Wow, the one blooming has puff balls already. Mine are just groups of pistils that look suspicious. LOL

Maybe you could put some mulch around to help keep it moist. (Of course that could bring other problems.)
You must not be getting the same rain, 'cause we've had almost too much.

I’m getting some heavy downpours, but only for a short period. I believe a lot of that rain just runs off and doesn’t penetrate too deep.
Next season I’m not adding any manure. I’m just going to amend what I have. Unless I get a lot of wash out.
Another thing I ran out of promix when I went in the ground with this batch. I typically line the holes with a generous amount of promix to “buffer” the roots from too much shock. So there’s that speculation.
Other than that, i checked out last season’s pics, and they are about the same, considering i started this batch about five weeks later than last season.
