Ya, that really does suck you getting shafted, and that was a beautiful pic. You know, you could turn that into wallpaper for a wall. Hum?
On to more pressing matters, I'm seriously thinking of getting an electric trimmer. You are experienced, so what can you tell me?

I couldn’t do the amount I do without it. I also hand trim, and there’s no difference to me. I love it. I bought mine at a garage sale for $75. It’s called an “OK” Trimmer. Works amazing for leaving you with (what the industry calls) a “Hippie Cut” bud.

Found one on ebay and bought it. Unfortunately it's in Cali and they don't expedite. So, I'll be trimming by hand until it gets here.
BTW, you got a real deal. 😉

$175 plus tax
Cheap! When I got mine I looked it up online, and only found them from the original company. They were around $900. At $175-$200+ I’d buy it again without hesitation. It’s literally like having a fast helper. The hand trimming you have to do afterwards, makes it so much easier. Keep your grate cleaned off of resin, and periodically scrape your blades to collect a nice temple ball, which is fire! Also keep it clean because it will suck the leaves in deeper, easier, faster, and give a closer cut.
Don’t let the collection bag/net get too full because the suction becomes less when it does fill up. It comes with two grates. I never use the smaller grate. It doesn’t suck the big leaves in enough, and the machine works best with **fresh cut branches**.
If you hung a plant whole, and the leaves start to wilt,(like after a few days), it doesn’t trim very good.
I’ve also used a 16 inch? bowl trimmer in the past, and this machine is far superior and way faster while still allowing you to keep your branches “hooks” intact so you can still hang easily to dry.
I was skeptical when I found it, and not sure if it was all that, but I have no regrets at all about it.
Also I run it full speed. And wear earplugs because it’s a bit loud.
And it might spit some green leaf debris around, so use it where that doesn’t matter. I’ve used it inside the garage, when it’s cold or rainy, but it’s better suited outside. Also ran wet branches through it when I did bud washing. It does get messy with the wet stuff. But capable.

I chopped “tiny” Grape Kush yesterday, trimmed it by hand two days earlier, let it dry up after yesterday morning’s rain, chopped and trimmed it closer. When I transplanted it from the bucket to the ground, I buried it right to the base, I expected the stem to sprout roots. It didn’t.

I think that will be worth every penny for you with as much as you have. Nice find
Thanks Beazy, but it's an eBay purchase so, we'll see.

And Eternal, thanks for all the helpful info about maintenance, that is exactly why I asked. That advice/experience is worth a fortune and will help me flatten my 'learning curve' a little. ❤️

I saw those expensive ones on Amazon and couldn't justify the high costs. The only thing about ebay is.... I know some of the merch. the sellers offer are stolen and it pains me to participate, but, you don't know.

It should be straightforward to set up and use. It’s an easy and fast learning curve. You’ll figure out the best way to use it. The way that works best for you. You will find how nice it is once you measure the difference from before you had one and after having it. If it doesn’t improve your growing experience, $200 is basically just buying a bag of weed in the old days, and you don’t even have that long gone bag of weed anymore, lol.

Fantastic looking and sorry about getting shorted on the freebies from the POTM
I’m still trying the direct approach with the companies themselves.
All I can say is nobody wants to pony up the prizes.
What I will remember is how difficult those companies,
SEED SUPREME
ILGM
HOMEGROWN CANNABIS CO
are, when it comes time to pay back. Bunch of stingy ass suppliers.
I do love Humboldt seed company for being so easy to deal with.
My take away is,
It’s nothing personal I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but one thing for certain I will never forget you!

Weather guy said you up north people may get frost tonight.
Here it comes. I figure one more week.

Weren’t seed supreme and homegrown the ones giving away all the free seeds in exchange for a diary?
