Fantastic looking and sorry about getting shorted on the freebies from the POTMPhoto bomb!
I couldn’t do the amount I do without it. I also hand trim, and there’s no difference to me. I love it. I bought mine at a garage sale for $75. It’s called an “OK” Trimmer. Works amazing for leaving you with (what the industry calls) a “Hippie Cut” bud.Ya, that really does suck you getting shafted, and that was a beautiful pic. You know, you could turn that into wallpaper for a wall. Hum?
On to more pressing matters, I'm seriously thinking of getting an electric trimmer. You are experienced, so what can you tell me?
Found one on ebay and bought it. Unfortunately it's in Cali and they don't expedite. So, I'll be trimming by hand until it gets here.I couldn’t do the amount I do without it. If you don’t mind my asking, how much did you pay?Found one on ebay and bought it. Unfortunately it's in Cali and they don't expedite. So, I'll be trimming by hand until it gets here.
BTW, you got a real deal.![]()
$175 plus taxIf you don’t mind my asking, how much did you pay?
Cheap! When I got mine I looked it up online, and only found them from the original company. They were around $900. At $175-$200+ I’d buy it again without hesitation. It’s literally like having a fast helper. The hand trimming you have to do afterwards, makes it so much easier. Keep your grate cleaned off of resin, and periodically scrape your blades to collect a nice temple ball, which is fire! Also keep it clean because it will suck the leaves in deeper, easier, faster, and give a closer cut.$175 plus tax
I think that will be worth every penny for you with as much as you have. Nice find$175 plus tax
Thanks Beazy, but it's an eBay purchase so, we'll see.I think that will be worth every penny for you with as much as you have. Nice find
It should be straightforward to set up and use. It’s an easy and fast learning curve. You’ll figure out the best way to use it. The way that works best for you. You will find how nice it is once you measure the difference from before you had one and after having it. If it doesn’t improve your growing experience, $200 is basically just buying a bag of weed in the old days, and you don’t even have that long gone bag of weed anymore, lol. Thanks Beazy, but it's an eBay purchase so, we'll see.
And Eternal, thanks for all the helpful info about maintenance, that is exactly why I asked. That advice/experience is worth a fortune and will help me flatten my 'learning curve' a little.
I saw those expensive ones on Amazon and couldn't justify the high costs. The only thing about ebay is.... I know some of the merch. the sellers offer are stolen and it pains me to participate, but, you don't know.
Bigal you need one of these:Ik my bowl trimmer changed my whole game couldn’t do it without it anymore![]()
I’m still trying the direct approach with the companies themselves.Fantastic looking and sorry about getting shorted on the freebies from the POTM
Yup. That’s the one I have. Shoot, I’d buy it all over again at that price!Bigal you need one of these:
I heard the same, but now it’s looking like a low of 37 here. Horses get the barn tonight.Weather guy said you up north people may get frost tonight.
Here it comes. I figure one more week.
Weren’t seed supreme and homegrown the ones giving away all the free seeds in exchange for a diary?I’m still trying the direct approach with the companies themselves.
All I can say is nobody wants to pony up the prizes.
What I will remember is how difficult those companies,
SEED SUPREME
ILGM
HOMEGROWN CANNABIS CO
are, when it comes time to pay back. Bunch of stingy ass suppliers.
I do love Humboldt seed company for being so easy to deal with.
My take away is,
It’s nothing personal I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but one thing for certain I will never forget you!
Yes. I have a SLH diary going for seed supreme.Weren’t seed supreme and homegrown the ones giving away all the free seeds in exchange for a diary?
