Hello farmers..

Has anyone ever used Ligna Peat as the base of a soil mix? It is made from Redwood bark from what I understand. I have access to this at a great price, and it seems its a fantastic quality. But I can find no info of anyone using it in indoor container gardens. I have always used Sunshine #4, which is Sphagnum Peat Moss. I am trying to find better quality products on a local level, and Lyngso Garden supply carries this product.

I was going to mix this EWC, Organic Compost, Lava Rocks & Pumice, Oyster Shell Calcium, Leonardite, & Glacier Dust.

Thoughts?

cheers.

You should try it on a plant or two and be the pioneer for us!
