Exaust fans and ducting.

I have just boaght a 125mm fan to extract heat from my cool tube but the only prob is the only insulated ducting i can finmd around here is 150mm or bigger.

Will it be ok if i use 150mm ducting and make some sort of reducer. I need to use insulated ducting to cut down noise.

I guess i will just go with the 150mm insuulated ducting on the 125mm fan, makea box for the fan filled with some sort of foam, and SOMEHOW join the two long pieces of ducting to the fan box..
I think that should work.

Ps i dont grow this is all in my imagination since ive beeen having suspect phonecalls from internet serveilance people lately.
Actually i might just use this setup to grow my cactus. i have about ten of them. and they are not illegal.
