Thought it was time to check in with my farmer family. Finally sexed all 6 beans that popped and all 6 are confirmed female, like I was telling Ex what are the chances of getting 6 females from 6 beans? Well I guess feminized seeds would produce that but typically not with reg seeds. Must have got lucky on that draw :)
All the ladies have been in veg since 5/25. I am going to veg them another 2-3 weeks or until the 1 has sufficiently filled her screen so I will have room in the scrog for the 12/12 flip stretch. The rest of the gals were just trained with LST free standing in 5 gallon pots. The scrog lady is in a 25 gallon tub.
I have learned 1 lesson with my first go at scrog and that is..... next screen I fab I will have to string the screen tighter than I did this round. Dang gal is stronger than I gave her credit for. She is just having her way with going any where she wants. As you will see in the 1st couple of pics she is starting to fill in the screen nicely. Thats a 4 x 4' screen and she is spreading her wings for sure.
They all just got drenched with their last veg feeding of worm tea and Jacks Classic veg 20/20/20 and after flip will switch to Jacks Blossom Booster and black-strap molasses. Lighting will swap to 1000 w HPS
I have made the decision today to fire up the charcoal filter as even in veg these gals are starting to let it be known they are ready for the party. :) A stem rub is divine!!!! Very much looking forward to watch these gurls bloom. Got a feeling its gonna be epic!!! Specially the scrog lady. She is a real gem.
My deepest appreciation and props +++++ to Ex and the gang and all of the great folks and farmers that help out and give their time and expertise to help ExGen gain status as one of the premier breeders in the PNW.
You guys have earned your place in the sun!!! Nothing but love and good vibes coming to you all from the Cactusman.
Peace
