Exhaust Set-up

Hello, new to this forum and indoor growing and had a quick question.

I'm using 2 x 4 x 6 grow tent and like to place a carbon filter in the back right corner of the tent with the exhaust fan attached to the top of the filter ducting out of the grow tent.

Would this be sufficient to clean the air before exhausting the air out of the tent or would I require more?

I'm unable to hang the carbon filter due to the weight and the size of the tent .

Yes, that would be excellent... Keep the venting exiting your fan as short and straight as possible. :)

Cannot know for sure without CFM calculation.

have your fan pull air thru filter, not push... otherwise smells will escape.

Winged Son - am using a Ventech fan (c. 420 CFM) and a big-ass Carbon filter.

Bannacis (ha) - the fan will be ducted to the top of the carbon filter (placed vertically in back of tent) pulling air through the carbon filter and pushing it out of the top of the tent.
