Time for a few more pictures... It is clear to me that I will not be getting the kind of yield I initially hoped for due to several factors- A) I think the fact that this girl is root bound is holding her back in bloom B) She never got a chance to entirely fill the vertical screens entirely due to becoming root bound C) I started alternating between fertilizing and giving compost tea when there was a little nute burn early in flower. It seems that the plants wanted to be composted less and to be able to take advantage of the nutes more. I am going to back off the compost tea to once every 8 days instead of once every 4 days and see if it helps these last few weeks.
Nevertheless I already consider this a successful run and experiment although the pentascrog method does need a little tweaking through future runs to be perfected. The formation of flowers on the vertical screens is very good, in fact it is better than on the horizontal screens in most cases. It seems like the vertical flowers got a head start on blooming before the horizontal ones due to the horizontal growth being cut back so many times. I am thinking that I will end up cutting off the vertical growth first and allow some extra time on the horizontal growth to see if they will pull harder at that point and swell up a little more. At that point they will have more food available because a good portion of the plant will be gone and no longer feeding. That is the revised plan for now...
