Your cut looks good but not taken care of proplerly. You can certainly root it in soil. Just make sure soil is not hot with nutes, dip cut in rooting hormone then place a hood or clear plastic over the cut to help keep the humidity level up. You need around 80% humuditity for a about a week, then SLOWLY each day allow it to adapt to your veg room. Make sure your veg room is around 50-60% humidity and you will have lots of success. Also jsut let the clone chill and do not disturb it alot. It will happen!
