Extraction Guides For Vape/e-juice Thc Conc?

Hey. New to the whole scene and i like vaping compared to everything else. Can anyone link me to good guides/how-tos for extraction of THC liquid to making vape juice.
I was thinking of using keif (we get it cheap here) to dissolve in IPA in a soxhlet extractor for couple of hours, then evaporating IPA (on a water bath), then mixing the extract with cold ethanol on an ice bath and filtering it and then evaporating ethanol. Can I use the remaining extract mixed with e-juice or PG/VG to vape?

when I make eJuice. I combine 40 ml (40% PG 60%VG) with 3 grams kief bring to 190-200 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours. Remove from heat to cool and filter through cone coffee filter.

In only use bho or distillate for my carts. When unused all other extracts (kief, rosin, bubble) they all separated in the cart in a couple weeks. Also, veg glycerin is not comparable with my distillate. It immediately separated and I wasted 1g of distillate and my time. I did a 75/25 peg400 to veg glycerin. I only use peg400 when making my carts.

I just started pressing my own rosin and made the mistake of using rosin pressed from pucks for vape cartridges the first time. Sooo loaded with particulate. Looked so clean when I first pressed it. Lol, live and learn. I'm now extracting with silk press bags. Ordered 90 micron when I bought my press and reduced the particulate dramatically and my yield went from around 15% up to over 20%.

Will be getting 27 micron bags soon and that should get it nice and clear. The wax liquidizer I bought from a local shop worked well enough but it's way too expensive at a $1 per ml. I'm looking for a low cost pre-mixed solution and flavoring but the market is so flooded I have no idea which one to go with. I intend to mix my own eventually but for now I'm just working at getting some functional e-juice. I tried it without flavoring and it vaped great but tasted like sh*t. I'm a purist but I had to resign myself to the fact I'll need flavoring.

Any tips on a good brand for flavoring? I don't care if if It's weed or fruit flavored as long as it vapes well and tastes good. Thanks.

I appreciate you answering, but that wasn't my question. Been grinding top buds to press because I have 7+ lbs of flower that is almost impossible to offload with the current market conditions and most of which is too resinous to kief well. The 90u bags are still letting too much particulate pass through and the only smaller sise in KorLor420 silk bags is 25u. I have had no problem with separation so far and is the reason I used a quality pre-mixed solution specifically balanced for wax. If it becomes a problem I'll turn up the heat a little but I like the terps on the <200F extractions.

What I'd like to know is what you flavor your cartridges with, if anything? The reviews of all the flavor concentrates I've looked at are split pretty evenly good/bad for use in ejuice. One exception was TreesX, which is expensive but I'll go with if I can't find a recommendation for something better. Thanks again.

I only use the terps that get fractioned off during distillation.

Ejiuce is only peg400 and polyglycol mixed. Can make your own for 80% cheaper.

when I make eJuice I use 30-40% Propylene Glycol and the rest Vegetable Glycerin.

those cartridges like oPen Cape that is shatter dissolved in Propylene Glycol. if memory serves 1 gram shatter mixed with 2.5 ml propylene Glycol.

if you use Terpenes and Rosin.

have heard mixing .5 grams Rosin with 2-6 drops of terpenes.

got this data from Tony of Blue River terpenes. he was frequently a guest on Hash church.

Are there multiple weights of PG? When I was reading about how to mix the juice someone wrote that to keep wax stable it took vegetable glycerine and multiple weights of PG mixed in the right %s. Then again, maybe I misread it and they only meant mixing PG and VG in the right %s to achieve a certain weight. That's why I wasn't planning on mixing my own until I'd done a bit more research.

My wax still hasn't separated in the pre-mixed liquidizer I bought.

When I did a peg400 and VG blended it together, it separated like oil and water. Wasted 2g of distillate.

yes there is food grade Kosher grade and UPS grades.

Concentrate will not seperate in Propylene glycol. if you add too much vegetable glycerin it WILL SEPERATE

IF you get EJMIX it is not supposed to seperate at all. Never used it.

I don't use shatter or pull and snap to make eJuice.

heres how I make mine.

I mix the base in advance60%vegetable glycerin 40% propylene glycol.

Measure 35 ml of the base I prepared. put it in a short glass.

add four grams Kief to the glass. Mix and set on a coffee warmer and heat 2 hours or more stirring occasionally.

Using a small funnel and a small piece of cone coffee filter NOT basket style filter.

patiently filter the thick viscous eJuice.

That has never separated on me

This method involves the use of butane, of course, and should only be done by the pros. The reason being that the final product needs to be completely purged of butane.
Amateurs could become careless and create a contaminated, impure product. The final product of this process is called Butane Hash Oil or BHO.

Can I do the same using RSO.

I made a batch of 3 cups VG to 1.5 ounces of trim to create a fairly thick and not very potent e-juice with my magic butter machine. I wanted to make a much more potent version using RSO that was extracted with 190 proof everclear. I read all the stories about the RSO separating in a very short amount of time.

I was wondering if I could use the RSO with your method of heating/filtering the 60/40 base.

I was not able to get VG to mix with PG at all either. Even as low as 10% VG. I make my own e-cig nicotine juice and have for many years so this was not new to me. I also wasted about 1g of BHO (bought). Now I use pressed rosin and pure PG. Heat the PG to 140-160 in a double boiler and let the rosin melt. Stir for a few minutes until its uniform and then inject into CCELL brand carts. I've had great results doing it this way.
