Three female F1 seedplants from old stock that I sourced and obtained the vendor's last two packs of seeds. I am specifically breeding the male plants back to a selected blockhead clone, but also flowering out the females I found in order to see what they have to offer. I am sure that there is no such thing as a bad phenotype of blockhead!

I saw signs of flowering two days ago and transplanted them from 5 gallon pots into the 30 gallon smartpot fabric pots. Probably will be taking them indoors under a couple 1000 watt lights at night to extend the veg another two weeks.

Well feast your eyes on these babies because a blockhead from seed is about the rarest thing I can think of.

Another shot from today. They really like having room to wiggle their toes.

These are the first to be showing definite signs of budstack and flowering, seems to be par for the course with most SOL strains to be earlies.

Seeing some differentiations between the three girls, although they do share the same basic profile. . . Columnar, very well suited to a sea of green for indoor growing.

First two shots show the one that has a definite sativa lean, including some backwards twisting leaflets hinting at the mom's side as well as extended node spacing.

Third photo is the smallest in stature and looks like something from the blueberry family with a slight nitrogen sensitivity and huge fan leaves with rounded lobes.

Last two photos are the hybrid plant, showing strong columnar growth with heavy branching and an incredible cola bud forming that is shown closer in the last picture. This one I have had my eye on from the start, as a standout among standouts. All three I am sure will be very nice plants and worthy of growing.

:smokeVery nice bro, good luck with those blockheadz and letz keep those genez alive, thank you for sharing:smoke

I had a surprise female plant appear which I had misidentified and had been hanging out with the male plants for a month while she could have been getting fatter. This one is very much unlike the other 3 seedplants in that it really resembles something that would pop out of a pack of DJ Short beans. I can see the blues in all of them but this one looks like some kind of blueberry sativa.

I remember the original ad copy for Blockhead said something about "indica-like buds on a sativa sized plant." Well, this girl seems to fit the bill. She is the only one of the four to have actual branches and you can see the huge, gorgeous sativa blades soaking up the sun. Sure doesn't set buds like a sativa though, with that stubby top and the relative few budsites on the branches.

This one is the super duper ultra chronic paralyzer zombie speedball weed, Blockhead 500. Selected from 500 plants, grows like a vigorous indica and yields medium harvests of the stinkiest grape skunk spray flavored rock buds. Massive trichomes of "chromatic resin" which breeder steve referred to as resin that refracts light and each trichome looks like a highly polished metal BB. I have had this cut for years and am stoked to finally have some blockhead males for seeding out this cut for my personal stash. This one is over the top insanity, I pick it almost every time over bubba or pure kush or GDP for its full grape flavor and wild rollercoaster high.

Dude, you had me at "super duper ultra chronic zombie speedball weed" :heart :)

Go on, reverse that gal and make some seeds.....I'll trade you my wife and daughter, guitar, motorbike, left leg and whatever's in my bank account (don't hold your breath though). If I can get them wet and smokeable in time for Xmas I'll throw in the flat and my wife's car. Errr, and my casio watch. And my Roor bong. And an the rest of this G13xDC, which is the cause of this babble (about an oz or so). And my lighter. :)

I second all that for some of the beans lol but good job man lookin great and congrats on havin those. keep doin what your doin

Very glad that you like the blockheads! I can't say enough about the strain, especially the clone. Flavors like this should not exist!

I'm not so hot on reversing plants or stressing them for seeds. I do have some blockhead male clones rooting right now that will go into flower in about a week, just in time to make seeds with the 4 seedplants + 1 clone "blockhead 500". I'm not going to be trying to market it but I will spread some around to see how they turn out. I still have more seeds and the germ rate was 95%, a few months ago.

All four are looking like they will finish the first half of october. Here is what they were looking like earlier. First, the blueberry sativa plant. . . that's what I think of her as. Those leaves are jade green and huge in relation to the size of the plant. It is the slowest grower of the four but I think she will grow long and colorful spears.

Sweettooth3 / blueberry leaning type plant. This one looks like it would be perfect for a sea of green, 25 plants per light setup. Hardly any branching at all, very columnar plant.

This one I have my eye on. It looks like the description of the p19 mother plant. Sativa growth, indica looking buds. Check out the stubby nugs and the short top cola, on a plant with a frame like that! Those leaves are mean looking and definitely possess an upward pointing, horn-like set of lower leaves which is often noted as a trademark of p19. "The only plant worth growing."

So hopefully this one is some kickass herb.
