Hi all,

I understand that a small oscillating fan helps to strengthen the stems.

What is the point of the intake and exhaust fan ( apart from carbon filter )

At what point do you need to use both?

Thanks in advance
Dave

Your exhausting out heat and humidity that can rise during lights on and off and bringing in fresh air and co2 which the plants need.. fans are to keep the air circulting and help keep the plants cool etc.

When your plants use up all the co2 around them, they need more, the oscillating fan keeps air circulating but once they've used up all the co2 in the room, they're not efficiently growing. Exhaust takes out all the stale air (and lowers humidity and temps), intake, brings fresh, co2 rich air back into the room. If you have a small tent, you can use just an exhaust and let it naturally pull in air through the vents. If it's a 4x4 or bigger you might want the intake too.
