FDA Set to Ban Your Supplements

we don't need all these programs and watch dogs and the ones we do need like the FDA we need to limit thier power and cut thier budgets so they can concentrate on the important things they were designed for. the budget cuts are coming so im sure it will apply to the FDA as well. need to put a leash on these over zealous dept heads that keep reaching outside thier boundaries. let them work on a smoother more cost efficient system for the needed stuff 1st.

Actually, Kid, if I may expound on your ideas there, it is my opinion that budget cutting won't do what's needed. What we the people REALLY need is for corporate entities to no longer be able to gain high positions/positions of power in government. We need better (use of available?) checks and balances.

Because that's really the true problem in most bureaucracies in the US--they're run by corporate interests. And they've been APPOINTED to these positions of power. That's the real problem, in my opinion.
