The Feds are currently working on creating a new, seperate classification for Cannabis extracts and concentrates. This will result in harsher fines and punishments for people caught with extracts, and also it potentially will make it harder for people to get their much needed medicine. http://www.invalid.com/news/2013/11...rug-code-proposed-for-marijuana-concentrates/

The link won't post, copy and paste it and replace invaliddotcom with marijuanadotcom

Collusion of chemistry! ....sucks. I myself stopped bho altogether, but when Co2 extraction comes down in price, I will be all over it like a fat girl on a cupcake.

Funny my doctor tells me to vape concentrates due to medicinal reasonings with smoke and purity. Also I know of docs that can hand out concentrate recs. one friend has a rec for 75 potatoes couldn't believe it.

Sorry, did not mean to offend. Really. I should have said that on a legal front the feds (seem) to want the states to regulate things legislatively. .. and that hasn't happened in cali is what I'm referring to. Sorry bout that. I was in no way referring to quality in people or meds. I am appreciating what looks like that happening in OR. I'm really hoping it works out. But dispensaries in cali drop like flies sometimes. Sucks, But that's all I meant.

You didn't offend me until you childishly changed my name in the reply box. Keep your lame attitude in Oregon where it's second rate douchebag.

The noobs, hustlers and uncultured smokers are giving concentrates a bad name to nonsmokers and smokers alike, who are uneducated. What I see hapenning in the near future will be percieved as a win, but will be a losing blow to medical users. They are going to use their "trump card", they are going to fully legalize weed, but make concentrates more illegal, even for medical use. We think we win, but the pharmaceutical companies and politicians will be the real winners at our expense.

I'm sorry, Cali may be filled with compassionate medical activists and great pot and people, but its also filled with a lot of violent wannabe hippies who ruin things for others by fighting over turf in public parks and hustle garbage, harmful oil to uneducated noobs like in San Fran, I am a deadhead for life, but some of these kids are just bad for the movement

The only reason to classify concentrates differently is to make the legal statuses different. Sure we all know properly purged concentrates are a superb medicine, less harmful than smoking and more medically beneficial. BUT.... they (the feds) will showcase how harmful it CAN be and reason that its negative effects are worse than the positive medical uses. And to appease the masses, they will make buds legal, and everyone that isn't educated will be very happy, but concentrate artists will be felons.
