Finally perpetual

Hey all,
Looks like I lost a bit of my previous journal when the update happened :( No worries, I have allot of my setup since the original post so I figured Ill update with a new thread going forward.

This is my attempt at a perpetual grow tent, while keeping costs down and providing myself with meds constantly. Currently I harvest about every 20-30 days and have been pulling 2-4 oz per plant.
I use a old cabinet for my veg/baby area and a 4x4x7 tent for my flower room.

Nutes:
DynaGrow Foliage Pro
DynaGrow Protekt
DynaGrow K-L-M for cuttings
Bionicare CalMag+
Tap water (24 hour settle) 150PPM from the tap
Sometimes:
Jacks All Purpose 20-20-20 (love the green the following day !)
Seaweed extract
IF soil used, it is from my compost pile and mixed 50/50 with hydroton for better runoff, although I am slowly moving everyone over to hydroton and 7x7x7 flood pots.

I also foilar feed once a day with alfalfa tea to all vegging plants until about week 3 in flower. I have found it really increases vigor and growth while decreasing stretch in flower.

My Veg cabinet:
Got my veg/babies cabinet dialed in with my mini e&f system. I made a small bubble cloner that can hold 7 cuttings.Also have a small tub for germinating seeds. Everything in the cab is now on 18/6 currently in the cab are:
7 blue diamond cuttings in cloner
3 blue diamond in e&f feeding 5 times in 24 hours for 15 min each. (Protekt, Dyna Grow Follage Pro, calmag)
4 Darkstar
3 Silverhaze Skunk
Seeds germing:
1 femenized Kushage
3 Silverhaze skunk
3 RoyalKush

My Flower tent:
4x4x7 tent
3x4 Ebb & Flow tray with 25 gallon res, feeding 6 times a day during lights on for 15 min.
330 watt CMH bulb
250 GPH air pump and 2 5" Airstones 24/7
Currently have 4 BlueDiamond's staggered at one month intervals. Also have seedlings at 72 hours in the tent for sexing / finding a male!
I will be adding a darkstar 180watt LED to my flower tent / CMH set up to add some extra spectrum/lighting without adding a bunch of wattage. Should be here, Monday.

Well, that's the gist of it, feel free to give me some pointers/advice as this is my third grow.

Still needs some "clean up" trimming, but this is the last harvest from a week ago, in just colas was 2.3 oz. And a crap load of smaller buds that went to the freezer for bubble bags.

Hey all, spent yesterday doing some cleanup/reorganization with the grow areas.
Moved all my nutes/chems out of the lower section of my veg cabinet and now have a nice space for my clones bubbler, new cuttings etc. This allowed me more room for my hydro pots in the upper veg area. This will help once the topped cuttings are sexed (hopefully a couple more days) Also a "gifted" feminized KUSHAGE seed had cracked and sprouted! So I cant wait to see how she does, also in the lower baby area.
For my flower tent, did a res change and a cleaning on my res and tray. Tied a few heavy buds to the walls to help with light coverage and to keep em from breaking. My LED panel should be here tomorrow, so I am looking forward to combining the CMH and LED.

Also day 4 on 12/12 for my seedlings, cnaat tell yet, but it should be anytime now. I figure another 2-4 days .

SO far everyone is doing fine.

Got my LED in today, pretty bright mofo! I will be adding it to my tent tonight when lights go on. I threw it in my veg cabinet to check it out. I will say since I hung it, about an hour ago the three plants have perked up and are reaching haha.

Think Ill get a light meter next so I can truly see what the 330 CMH and the 180LED will be putting out in my tent

Veg cabinet filling in nicely, diy cloners still going, no roots yet though.

Added the LED last night at lights on to the flower tent, and wow they all are "popped" up this morning. I am thinking in the future I will do a side by side LED vs CMH with the way the lights hang I could put 1 plant centered under each light.I have one bluediamond that will be drowning this weekend, so that will free up some space.

YAY, babies are doing great and I finally have BALLS! I am going to go through each one today looking for more signs from all of them, but from what I see in the front we got some females too. What do you think of the two closeup shots?

Got it at a local dispensary last year, said it wass a cross between blueberry and diamond head. Here is what I have been going off of, my buds look allot like the diamond head.

Gotta say first thing I noticed in the pictures of the tent was the netting that is hanging on the walls of the tent. Great idea, how's that working for ya?

Works great, anytime I need a place to tie off I have one available :) Original it was added to "scrog" the walls dueing a vert grow, but I didnt like not being able to move my plants after being strapped down. now its just used to help heavy buds stand up.

Not allot going on. Transplanted some clones into the veg hydro system. Both male darkstars have been trimmed a bit and isolated, hopefully to get some pollen to make my own beans. Flower tent doing well and buds are fattening. I have one bluediamond that should be ready to boil/drown anyday, need to pic up some batterys for my scope to check trichs.

Pulled a girl for harvest, very happy with her growth. Best one I have finished so far, got to love getting better every round. And for a strain I never heard of, bluediamond has been hearty, produces nice big colas. Very thanful for the recommendation of the budtender that recommended her last year :D She will continue to drown until the weekend, then she is off to hang.

Got some balls hanging on my 2 new male darkstars, I topped em and am starting to train them to avoid size issues for the micro cab I have them in. I need to learn more of getting/saving/using pollen now, because I would like to build a nice bank of seeds up for when shit hits the fan. I want to be self sufficient for the future. I did try something, just for shits and giggles. One of the pods on the male opened up a bit and showed a lil white, what looked like flower. I plucked it off and placed it into the center flower of my newest addition to the flower tent. Who knows, but I wanted to try. Ill keep my eye on her cola and see what happens. ANd gives me time to learn to do it the right way lol, especially with having to go back into another surgery soon grrrrrrrrr, another 6-9 weeks of being down then the pysical therapy again.......Bah, so anyway Ill have time to do some readin and training for my attempt at making my own beans.

Not much going on in the veg cabinet, just growing. I did find a larger (longer) tub for a DIY flood tray at the walgreens the other day. Now I can get 8 7" pots in there so I can prep 2 more than my previous tray. I also starting taking some clones of the Seedman SilverHaze, about 5-7 in the bubbler now. This will be the next strain I add to my bluediamond strains. The darkstars are doing well, but I have not begun taking cuttings yet due to space :))

Flower tent is now down to 4 bluediamonds spaced about 30-45 days apart, although I let this last girl go allot longer and see a great mix of cloudy/amber trichs under my scope. Still going to redesign my lighting for a more uniform coverage of the LED/ CMH, for now I just move plants every 2-3 days. I will say since adding the LED, I notice lots of new upper bud growth, almost like foxtailing, but they are filling in.....just never seen it before I geuss

Happy Sunday all,
Hope all of you have been well. Not allot going on over here. Still healing, waiting on hip surgery now. Been spending allot of time working in the veggie/flower garden and things are starting to pop

For the tent and cab, not allot going on. I did make a few changes due to the weather heating up.

For the veg cabinet, I removed the 150hps due to heat and added the 180watt LED. I figured it would save on some electricity, and everything I have read the LED seems to be awesome for veg. So in my mind the best of both worlds, the led for veg and the CMH for flower. I still need to add my larger flanges to the flower tent to get more airflow, more a preventative measure with heat rising. I also am down to 4 in th flower tent, so I am starting to give them more room to spread out for flower.

Everyone still on dyna grow fp, Protekt, cal mag only. 500ppm veg and 1000flower seesm to be doing well for everyone. Also foliar feeding alffy tea daily for the veg cabinet, and doing some serious topping/trimming to keep em short and fat while in veg. Also the feminized "kushage" is growing up nicely and now getting nutes, hopefully she will be a nice addition to my cuts.

I also did a lil project while killing some time......

SO all the tasty ideas going around regarding BHO, I have had my eye out for a turkey baster. Wasnt a huge deal, one of those "when I find one I'll pick it up" kind of things. So I was cleaning the garage the other day and came across an old gift someone gave me, a combo mini flask and cigar holder. It got tossed to the trash pile, until "click" the light went on , hmmmmmm I could make a extraction tube. Grabbed the dremel and drill and off we go.

So I drilled a inlet port in the screw off cap of the flask tube, and cut off the bottom. Then took the cigar tube and cut the lower portion so it would slip on the flask, giving me more volume and a large end to fill from. Here are some pics,and Ill be testing it out sometime this week I geuss. I need to run over and pick up somemore butane, and I have 2 oz's of bud only from my bluediamonds chopped and in the freezer for when needed. Ill be polishing the internals before use, found a 12 gauge polishing bit and added a piece of 220micron keif screen for the end. All portable and easy to pack.
