What do you think about adding barley flour to compost? I got a lot of barley and I have a grinder. If not I'll just wait until next summer and top dress it in since I'm growing in coco right now.

Is this used as a botan

Oh ok I was wondering...i was confused. I though you were charging biochar...making a tea with charged char and then recharging it...i need another bonghit you think?
hahah right,ya i take the sludge on bottom after feeding and top dress it into the soil,it filters down threw the soil from there

yes sir,that is a good thing to do,the barley will have that compost on over time,i only use a tsp per 1 gal container with feeding it goes a long way,organik makes some kind of slurry from his,,what my plan is to top dress it inj about every other watering and water it in

@Farmer P
You can gain the malted grain enzyme benefits. What you would need to do is brew your tea...add the MBP and 10ml fulvic and then mix that, strain and water. The enzymes will get eaten fast by microbes.

Cool, I'll try it out. Start with just a little like a teaspoon or something and see how they respond. And add some to my compost too.
feather a tsp over top of the coco,dress it in the coco and water over the top,i do think i read were he also used fulvic,organik better with the use of it

Peptides, nucleutides, your soil loves them. These are the same enzymes your plant exudes to signal specific bacteria.

For instance if a plant needs nitrogen it exudes protease which attracts nitrogen fixing bacteria. If it need a phosphorus it exudes phosphatase.
