Ok so loosely......
On the earth, there are a number of naturally occurring biogeochemical cycles that promote all life. These cycles are known as CHNOPS. Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorous and Sulphur. They are the driving force of all life here on planet earth and each system has a unique set of tools and workers, helping the cycles to happen everyday, all day.
In the case of mammoth P, this is a form, or copy if you like, of the natural phosphorous cycle. it uses the same principles of the earths natural biogeochemical cycling to free up forms of P, which we and plants can then use as source material for life to function. Now naturally, the weathering of a mountain takes a vast amount of time, it is happening all the time, but the (macro) scale of the system is such that we (micro) cant really notice, despite understanding that through the rise and weathering of mountains and rocks, we get Phosphorous which all forms of life on earth can use as the currency of energy for example. P based teas like the ones you are discussing with your vendors/ suppliers are literally speeding up the process of biogeochemical engineering of mineral/ organic P, in to Ionic P.
