When I started this I had a seed and a little LED light and I thought what the hell let’s do this for free and see how it turns out after sitting down this evening and adding every little thing up I have come up with a grand total of $556 and I was not trying to spend a cent I went with the most proper but cheapest options for everything and I don’t think that I skipped anything or left anything out but it is very basic for anyone who is just beginning and wondering what growing one plant might roughly cost with proper equipment I am estimating around $500
just my two cents
And of course if you already have equipment, or you’re borrowing equipment, or are you just neglect to purchase some very basic things you could get away with much cheaper I assume however I didn’t figure a way out to do anything any cheaper I feel like I have gone the cheapest route possible in that allowing the plants to grow to its full potential meaning I didn’t half ass anything but I also was very mindful of my budget throughout this so far, my intent is now to grow several more and obviously that will then pay for itself after a few runs thanks for peeping my grow and hit me with some late flower tips yall !!

August 25 is the day that I germinated my very first seed, I used a whole bunch of different dirt that I dug out out of the yard and leaves random things I had no idea what I was doing
However that same day I decided to start my own worm bin/compost bin and as of today take look at this black gold that I have for my next run!!!
I am so excited to use it it smells amazing and I have only been putting fresh grass cuttings, leaves, peppers onions fruits veggies and branches as well as emulsified salmon and aloe vera I can’t wait to see how it is going to produce ,
My next run will be much better documented !in the Grow diaries, and I will be running two skywalker OG auto flowers from Barney’s farm they should be arriving in the mail any day now I am very excited one of them I plan to run completely organic and right next to her I plan to run synthetic nutrients just to see the difference and figure out how I would like to move forward

Right on man, I’m growing in back yard dirt, perlite and worm castings right now and my plants love it. I always wanted to try a worm bin and this is making me wanna order some red wigglers haha. Good luck with the OG autos and skywalkers

I currently have two clones from this current girl and being that I have only experienced a photoperiod Plant and I’m going to have two more I figured I should try autos and see what best fits for my little tiny closet and the time that I have and the turnaround and the amount and the quality I guess this is all just for personal use I’m just looking to get the best quality product in the shortest amount of time and I just enjoy gardening in general, I’m assuming I’m going to like the photo. Better because it’s more hands-on but I’ve seen some techniques that I would like to apply to the auto flower as well, training etc. we’ll see how they both go and I’ll pick between photos or autos or mix it up

After I started it I rolled up to the bait shop in town and bought 30 nightcrawlers and toss them in, if you go to the gardening center and buy composting worms they want $25 for them but if you go to the bait shop it’s like $2.99 lol

I have this strange storage closet in my basement, currently using for mixing fertilizers and salt water for my aquariums, it is now become the new cloning room as well. After my current 2 x 2 grow is finished and harvested up I will be moving the tent down here along with purchasing one more and turning this room into a full-time lung room/tent room I can’t wait to post some pictures after everything is finished I plan to at least tarp off the floors and the walls with some type of material and run my filter out as if it was a dryer vent it’s going to be pretty sweet my head is racing with ideas

For sure I will, I was thinking pretty much is sealing the entire room and having a 4 inch AC infinity exhaust fan with carbon filter attached to exhaust the entire room, and I’m going to have one 3x3 ? and one 2x2 side-by-side, both tents with booster fans dumping directly into the room which will have the carbon filter and exhaust fan dumping directly out the wall through a dryer vent I don’t think I necessarily want to use the room as a “grow room”however. I do rent the property, and if I ever need to break things down quickly it would be much easier to collapse tents and pack lights, humidifiers, equipment etc. than it would be to disassemble the room had a mounted everything directly to the lights ceilings walls floors I want it to look like an empty storage room if I pull all my equipment out .. however the current standing of it is very cold 65 degrees and moist 50% rh , which is going to be perfect for drying with my little humidifier in there

We are in the same boat thankfully we both have our hobbies and support each other’s hobbies, but the price of the hobby is what gets her
