First attempt at oil...

Ran one can of butane through a ss turkey baster, and 8g plant matter.

Checked the contents of the baster afterwards and the plants still looked very healthy, with lots of sugar. Can these plants be reused, for further extraction or for anything else?!

ya a bit. it looks better than it is though. you will get more oil if you run it again, nice and firmly packed and fully dried.

the butane will remove the contents inside the head of the stalk if im not mistaken. leaving the look of "decent" bud but its actually not very good :no
