First cannabis grow: glookies in happy frog

I have been growing cubensis for 6 years now and I am more then ready to make the leap into botany. I have been spending hours everyday for months now reading and watching videos. Really immersing myself in it to learn as much as possible. On 3/8 at qbout 8 p.m. I filled a solo cup to one inch under the top with fox farm happy frog. I added distilled water until the soil was at field capacity. I then loaded the soil into the solo cup, adding a teaspoon if dynomyco throughout it. I planted a glookies seed from barney's qbout a quarter inch deep and lightly covered it. The solo cup I'm using as the planter us the original red color. I cut 4 holes in the bottom for drainage. I also bought clear solo cups. I took a clear solo cup and capped it to create a humidity dome. After that I sat everything on a seedling heating mat. On 3/10 I started 15/9 light schedule with Mars hydro ts600. The clear solo cup is totally fogged up and the soil looks perfectly moist. No sign of germination as of 740 am on 3/10

I agree with this. Domes are for clones.

This is the humble beginning. I took the dome off ya'll. Thanks for the advice. I moved a humidifier in there to help keep the soil from drying out. I have a spray bottle as well if it needs misted. Light goes off at 835 so that will slow evaporation dramatically. There's going to be another light and another closet and a shit bunch more plants to come in the next few months. Stay tuned

To preface, this is all just to veg until they go outside. I won't be fruiting anything just taking clones and raising seedlings until they r strong enough to go outside. 30 gallon fabric pots and 4 by 4 by 18 inch holes in the ground. Got hundreds of gallons of water stashed and a natural spring real close to my spots. Running 60 autoflowers starting April 1st. They go outside in May, then 30 photoperiods, they go out June 7th. Gonna be an epic season. Better get some fuckin

I’d start over, put it in a clear cup, so you can watch the roots and water, sleeved in a red cup. A baggie works for a dome, and leave the condensation til it sprouts. Good luck.

First grow, you need to watch the roots grow and water absorption rate, besides “feeling” the weight to water. There too, weigh the cup and the water to see how the plant drinks. Lots of tricks to help firsttimers.
Edit: the only reasons i suggested replanting is because the op has clear cups and just planted today.

That is what I will also do (next grow) clear sleeved in a color cup.

So I won't be starting over cuz I'm 99 percent that it's chillin how it is rn but have about 40 more seeds or something so I will start an lsd today in a clear cup and study that one. I have a scale so I will do that with it yo gauge water consumption. Thank u for the advice. Appreciate all the feedback. Light was just turned on. I will update with a second bean in the ground in a clear cup later

Although I have heard that u are not supposed to use clear cup as it let's light at the roots and it's damaging for them. Is this grow science or bro science?

You sleeve it because light damages roots, not because of algae.

Also, some of ya'll do some way more involved than necessary things when trying to grow weed. This is one of them.

I'm super into nerdy shit like studying the way water moves through the root zone so this actually looks cool as hell. Never would have thought just drop the clear cup in a red cup good suggestion. Just got my clonex today so once these start growing out I will be taking clones from them. I'm dropping an lsd and triple cheese later. I will grow them in clear cups sleeved in red ones. I'm totally pumped I wish I had more space. They will all be going outside eventually anyway

10 days from seed in soil, plus one day pre-soak in tap water, planted point up about 1/2 inch deep. Shell pulls off in the soil.

630 in the morning light was turned on. Currently dome off, light on. No humidifier or fan. House got a little cold last night but when I woke up I turned the heat on. Once the house heats up a little I will turn fan and humidifier on. Buying hygrometer today.
