High All.

This is my first attempt at growing. Im about a month or so into it now and have my hands full.

Got 3 Blue Dream, 2 Soul Train, and 1 Afgan Goo to start with. The soul train are doing very measly. idk if its just the strain or what but they arent growing nearly like the others.

Anyways I pulled some clones off each strain and plan on trying to keep a mother plant going also. I built a clone machine, sorta like a ez cloner, ill post some pics.

was using a dome and successfully rooted two blue dream clones (this strain has been kicking ass) in ten days, but i got tired of having to check the dome and take it off periodically.

Here are some pics that bring us up to two days ago. Ill post some more after six when the lights come back on...

btw im obviously a patient. CA SB420/Prop215 compliant.

Then the bud room a few days ago. had to remount my light hangers, im running out of room FAST. and im maybe 2 weeks into bud on the oldest one.

sooo i built a new bud room last night. ran out of height in the other one. this one is a litter smaller but whatev, i can control it better.

and i ditched my 400w. im just gonna veg under my four cfls for a couple weeks then throw em into to bud. they are getting to big for my liking. lol

startin to see buds... =) the one in bud longest has been in there 13 days today.

some of these are a few days old obviously.

Well here is an update from today. Im tired of working on all this shit. lol.

I wish i had a bigger budget. I hate cutting corners. I made a ghetto intake to pump some cool air in when the door is closed.

id pluck the bottom branches off the dreams, and also tie the rest of the branches up. They are gonna get HEAVY!

yeah i was thinking i should of really used some tomato cages. is it too late to put them on there now? i really wouldnt know how to go about that.

i also would like to note i put my other 400w hps into my bud room. 1400w total now. so ive been kinda shifting the plants around to get em some even light. my biggest blue dream seems to be SUCKING up water, it seems like it needs water every day almost.

Two more clones transplanted, soul train. hopefully i did it right. it was the first two out of my machine, the roots were a few inches long and i just buried them in soil and have been keeping them wet.

I would most def. get the plant with mites away from the others if its not to late. Everything looks good for your first grow, keep it up & you will be rewarded!

got my spider mite plant outta there. plucked some other leaves that started to get some on the other leaves.

just use Bamboo to tie your plants up, super cheap less than 5 bucks a pack at home depot.

lol thats pretty ironic, thats exactly what i just got at the hydro store. 25 pck for five bucks. 4ft long.

i also got some azamax for my mite problem. gonna prepare some spray tonight and get up early in the morning right after the lights go out and let em have it.

my hydro store didnt have a large selection, and they had BIG jugs of the stuff i really wanted and i couldnt really afford that. so hopefully this helps.

thanks for the input guys. im getting excited seeing all this bud. its wonderful, im hooked on growing this shit now. i love it.

update. took some more plastic down. moved some fans around. gave em a good coat of AzaMax this morning. hopefully that cures some bug problems.

let me know what you think. any tips. ive been keeping the bottom third of the plant good and trimmed up. i hope its okay to pull the water leaves also... lol

totally DIY. paid 20 bucks for the 400 and 175 for the 1k. got maybe 500-1000 bucks into the entire setup. loowwwww budget. but im definitely learning a lot. a lot about bugs and how much im going to love a sealed room my next grow. lol

update from today. quick question if anyone is willing to answer, um should i be moving the buckets around and rotating them and what not? i have been doing this, but the more and more i think about it i think i should just let the plant go and train itself to the light and get good dense colas where now i think ill get more of a fluffy bud cuz its only get good deep light some of the time idk...

looks good, got some good buds forming.
blue dream will be the only one getting any light in there.
imho they are too spaced out under that 1000 watt, try and bunch em up and bend em over making an impenetratable jungle of about 4x4 or 6x6 max and no need to rotate now. save that for veg. dont worry about getting light to those lower bud sites, they will only be larf anyway.

and i moved em closer together more under the thousand and im gonna leave em like they are now.
