Jake,
good to see you got a floor in there now. I would agree that on the next run, you should have those lights much closer to the canopy to avoid that stretch. THat means also effective room/light cooling, though. Those mites are the devil. You will not totally get rid of them till there is no more plant growing in the area. I would bug bomb the room after you harvest. Then, a clean room, that is pretty sealed from outside critters, and clean practices of what you bring into the room will help. Still gotta keep a watchful eye for any bugs on leaves on a regular basis. I had a bad mite outbreak that grew into insane proportions just 2 weeks from harvest. I had to vacuum my colas, then I let loose an army of ladybugs in the room. That got me by to harvest without spraying my meds with who knows what. Worst part is just a lot of ladybugs to clean out at the end. Found one in a jar a few days ago...

got my little soul trains tied up yesterday, they grow like opposite from any other plant ive seen. lol they go out, not up. i guess im not supposed to top it.

should i be worried about the yellowing/drooping? they are 6 to 7 weeks in.

got my veg room almost all framed off, all by myself. figured out how to lift the ceiling up with four straps and hooks then got the four legs under each corner. that was fun lol...

Here a some lights off pics, i officially mutilated my leaves and buds by getting overzealous on my spidermite defense, pretty much burned all the leaves as i gave em a spray in there light cycle. I just got impatient, really wish i would of done many things correctly on this grow. oh well, lessons learned.

lots of pics here. buds are still filling in nicely, seem to be kinda drying out though, they were more gooey and sticky a few weeks ago, they are still sticky now but not like they were before, it makes me cry myself to sleep. help?

so i got some new nutrient todays. as my mother clones are starting to root and going to be transplanted into soil today. i trying to stay more on the organic side. i know the rhizzo isnt omri but i think my roots need help. didnt find an acceptable RO filter in town today for under 250 so ill just order one from purewaterclub i think it is...

here are the nutrients, tell me what else i should use, it says to use a pretty hot soil. im gonna use the roots organic again, the original. think im gonna amend it with some #4 perlite to get some more drainage a lot of my pots just dont dry out it seems. but then again i am going from 3 to 5 gallon pots...

for a 1st time grow you kicked ass ! i had my blue dreams outside and sadly they were killed by a racoon .so now im building indoors ....anyway about how much did it cost you powerwise from start to finish and how long (weeks) did it take you to havest ?

hey thanks for the input, i like hearing opinions, i need to do a lot better pest control next round... be cleaner...

my bill goes up about a hundred bucks with everything going. had a dispute with the roommates two days ago so i went and got all the wattage per hour for the fans and flouros and for my two lights its about a hundred bucks @ $.12kwh.

and im still not done yet. i purchased the clones from my collective on 6-18-10, and began flowering the fasted growing blue dream clone by 6-26-10, which is a little over 8 weeks now. i think its 60 days today. so im letting the pot dry out a little on it and then gonna give it 24+ hours of just dark then choppin time. might be a little early but thats alright, gonna hold off on the others as they still do have plenty of time.

Looks good, nice job on the new room.

To complement your biocanna.

I would get some unsulphurered blackstrap molasses (feed store $20 for 5 gallons or supermarket 5-7 dollars for a bottle) Use in organics teas or 1tbsp per gallon
hygrozyme (or cannazyme or preferred brand)
Then some budswell liquid (or guano for tea) for during bloom.
Then some silica to strengthen the stalk and make them more disease and bug resistent. (or can add hygromite silica rock to your soil mix)
Then some soluble maxicrop or nitrozyme for a foliar feed) This is for a seaweed foliar boost.
Then since it appears you are going to be using r/o water should have some cal/mg on hand.

Or you could save some $$ and brew organic teas, good thread here:

So i actually broke down and got an RO filter today. (me having to support my local hydro shop) got the stealth 100 for 200 bucks.

got myself a 32 gal trash can for a res then manage to build up a fitting on the bottom that doesnt leak... lol

got a pump in there just circulating ro water with some bleach in there, get it good and clean then ill empty it tomorrow and rinse her out well.

then i pulled my oldest plant out and stuck it in a closet by itself, gonna give it 24 hours of straight dark then chop it about this time tomorrow maybe the morning after. we'll see. pretty much got my veg/mom/clone room buttoned up. the clone cabinet i made wasnt deep enough (fucking dumbass). just need to light proof around the door edges.

let me make sure i got the list right here.

-Molasses
-a Hygrozyme equivalent
-Budswell (is this the brand or any kind of PK booster)
-Then silica, which can be added to the soil or as a liquid feed?
-Then the maxicrop or nitrozyme for foliar feed. do i ONLY foliar with this?

and one thing im confused about the teas is that all you use to feed or do you feed from bottles too? seems like your really need to know what your doing to make a tea that can support your plant solely.

ill take a look at that forum but im intimidated, saving money sounds good though.
