First grow and I need some expert advice

I've been lucky to score one beautiful random seed that turned into a pretty little plant. I bonsai'd her and she grew small but with many little buds. Outdoor, no chemicals and now she looks ready! But I'm reading about trichomes and curling bud leaves and all this other stuff. I just can't tell if it's time to pick the buds. I do it too early and that's no good I wait too long and that's not good. Help I need advice. Here's a couple pics of her.

Yes pics in my original thread. I really didn't make notes about when flowering start. Started from seed February or march. I don't even know what type it is. See original thread link below with pics
