Only bad part is that I'll have to go to prison instead of just a jail this time
I served 11 months and 29 days one time, which I thought was a blessing since I’d stay in the county jail, but after sitting on my ass for six months in a tiny cell block and talking to the repeat offenders, I’m not sure prison wouldn’t have been better. At least there would have been more to do than watch the same channel on tv, play spades, and read tattered old library books. Oh, and working on my tan in the required by law one hour of sunlight a month.
Good luck to ya, man. Hopefully the days will fly by somehow.

I'm already 15-16 months in and while I was In jail getting transferred a lot due to assaulting other inmates or whatever excuse they wanted to come up with, all I heard is people waiting to go to prison. Last jail I was at didn't have an outside area just what they called a "rec room" which was like a 15ft by 12 ft rectangle room with like 4 chairs and a TV. Idk why they even had the room cause we already had a TV in our pod anyways

Our tv was on the other side of the block bars, so we were at the mercy of the guards what we’d watch. You knew the jackasses from the cool ones pretty quick.
That was way before electronic devices though. I wonder if they allow them on the block at all. Or if you’ll get access to online computers.
By the way, your plants are looking great. I just started my second grow, but on my first, the buds weren’t at all up in the light like yours. The buds that did get light were far superior to the ones that didn’t. I can’t wait to see what you yield.

Close up of trichomes on buds. Some of them on the "bud leaves" are turning amber, but not on the actual bud itself. According to the place my friend got the seeds, it should be a 55-65 day flowering period. Some pistils are turning orange though. Sorry for poor quality but you can see they're still in the milky phase

Looks like it’s going great! I would wager you’re going to get a good harvest. Be sure to post your final yield and a smoke report.
This is the point I regally fucked up—I got so paranoid that a single clear trich was going to make me paranoid that in my paranoia I hermed the plant and turned all the good buds amber. But to be fair, I’d only ever smoked dispensary stuff and not even much of that, so I really didn’t have any baseline to go by.

Just a tip for next time you pop seeds, keep them in a smaller pot as it will be easier to control oxygen to moisture and if they start stretching like that you can always up pot them into a bigger pot to keep the stems deeper in the soil. You can also drop the lights lower and much closer with LEDs to avoid the seedlings stretching

Didn't have the light when I started. Plant was in 1 gallon pot before transplanting into this 5 gallon. Still have a plant in a 1 gallon. Appreciate it tho

Those lights you were using could be almost directly on the seedlings to avoid the stretching. But now that you have the grow light you should be good. make sure the light is close enough still. too early to transplant from a 1 gallon. with seedlings that size you could have used a pot smaller then a 1 gallon.

Light is like 8 inches from the top of the plant and it's on 100%

When the seedlings stretch you need to train the plant to keep the stems shorter. you could have topped these to get a more even canopy of flower sites and really utilize that light space. Also, the longer the stalks the further the nutrients have to travel from the root zone.

I did top it

First, the plant is topped I just didn't do low stress training. This my first grow and I am working with a non existent budget. If you didn't notice, there's 2 top colas.
