yeah just go back to usual time, as said small delay once in the schedule shouldn't have any major impact.

Okay so another legal update. They offered me 3 years and I decided to take it. I change my plea on the 17th and then they will schedule a final sentencing date. Hopefully it will be long enough off for me to harvest this run. Only bad part is that I'll have to go to prison instead of just a jail this time

3 is better than 5... Sucks either way.

Good job on turning your 1st grow around! Study up at "camp" and walk out with all the growing knowledge you can! ✌🏻

That really sucks, not sure of your situation but hopefully time flies, does the 3 years include time served? Anyhow good luck and stay safe.

So it's getting kinda close to harvest, need some drying tips. I plan to hang them upside down to dry but do I need to cut off the big fan leaves when I do?

I do remove the big fans after i cut it down and most if not all of the mid size leaf this is called a " wet trim" some leave them on while hanging and just rake them off with your hand when dry. Please post a pic of the whole plant prior to harvest, i'd hate for you to chop it down too early. Good luck fella hang in there.

I'm in the slower dry is better camp, so I leave a select few fans and most of the middle and smaller leaves. Hang the whole plant at 60/60 for @ 2 weeks, then trim and into mason jars for curing.

I hang mine in my tent and try my best to keep temps 60° humidity at 60%. You want the chlorophyl to deteriorate properly to avoid that hay smell. My first plant i did this perfectly and had no hay smell. Next plant i had a new humidifier that let mist out differently, so the humidity throughout the tent wasnt as stable where i needed it, so i ended up with a little hay smell but its going away as the buds cure in my grove bags :)

So I should hang the whole plant instead of cutting off the individual branches?

It depends how leafy the plant is and the conditions of the drying room/tent.

Cutting branches will allow for a fast, sometimes more even dry, and cuts down on the chances of mold. But I personally like hanging the plant as a whole. Might be a little more risky, but you shouldnt run into problems with mold as long as youre paying attention to humidity and keeping the air gently circulating.

Over 60% humidity is dangerous because mold loves that shit, but go too far under 60% and you could end up with some hay smell because the chlorophyl didnt deteriorate entirely.

Keeping temps at 60° is good too. Go too far above that and you run the risk of drying too fast, or mold growing if humidity and temps are both high, AND your terps will evaporate out of the trichomes if the temps are high as well. Go too low, and it just wont dry properly. A little low is better than a little high when dealing with temps while drying, just because mold and pests tend to avoid colder temps. But it will affect chlorophyl deterioration, just keep that in mind :)
