First grow and need advice

When it's time for them to flower I just change the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 right? Yes, just be sure they are healthy and light tight when you do.

As long as they are photoperiods, switching to 12/12 will trigger flowering.

Keep in mind that your plants will stretch 2x-3x their height at flip so make sure to flip so they can triple in size and still have room for your lights to be a minimum of 18" from the tops (more would be better).

Never very fun when you have to either cut off your tops or find a way to bend them away from the light to keep from damaging them, I've done it myself plenty of times lol.

Yes sir! As long as these are photoperiod plants. Autos (ruderalis) do not care about the light schedule that much :)

So I asked if they were autos and they told me they are just feminized seeds. So that means I'll have to trigger flower myself right?

First time grow. Got seeds as a gift and wasn't prepared for them at all. I have them growing with some LEDs I found around my house but I have an actual full spectrum grow light coming soon. Had to raise my light since they grew until they were only about 2 inches away from it at that point. They are now just about 18 inches away and I will be monitoring them over the next few hours/days to see how they react. Also watered them very well today since from my research I had not been giving them enough water at all because I was scared of over watering. Will post updates but let me know what you think. Any criticism is welcome and appreciated. Thank you. (Apologies for the camera quality I know it sucks)

From one good son of the south to another (I heard your accent ), you'll do fine. We don't let anything beat us because we don't give up. You're going to learn so much on your first couple grows, and make lots of mistakes, too. In a year, you'll look back and laugh a little, but it will have all been worth it!

Us southern boys are hard-headed, too. :)

Well, you'll still laugh, but for different reasons. If you end up at the Greybar Hotel, use your time to study up on growing lol.

Also these brands lie a lot, they advertise it as a 1200W HPS equivalent which is not even remotely close, so maybe they lied in my PPFD chart too. The little extra wattage plus inflating performance like these brands do might explain the difference.

Is 100 watt l.e.d the equivalent of a 600 hps I read that somewhere but thinks it's a load of rubbish

I just picked up the 100 watt spider farmer and the description says
Consuming only 100W, achieve better or comparable results than 200 watts HID with 50% less heat and power consumption
and it seems about right on there
600 is reaching eh
