It’s called weed for a reason. Cause it grows like weeds and is hard to knock down. You probably helped it by breaking up the root ball. That exposes the denser inner roots to the new soil. It is common to do that on purpose to accelerate the transplant.

When transplanting should I break the roots a bit or is it bad practice

Personal preference. Research root pruning. I personally rough up all my plant root balls when transplanting. I like to claw and shake a bit to loosen the root ball. Especially when it is heavily bound.

Turned the light down some. It ain't dried out yet so that's a good sign. Still a little droopy but seems like it's getting better

Okay so I forgot yesterday to post a picture of the drooping and when I come back today she's looking a lot better.

Anyone know any good ways to preserve the fan leaves after I trim them off? Just want a keepsake from my first attempt at growing

Okay, so I looked at the plant just a second ago and noticed some tiny tiny white dots. I immediately thought of powdery mildew but Google says it wipes off and is usually on the tops and bottoms or leaves. This is just on the top sides of them and doesn't wipe off. It has a slight glitter like look to it. I'd try to take a Pic of it but they're way too small for my camera. Anyone have any idea what it is? I started to look up veg stage trichomes and it looks a bit like that but most the pics of trichomes are 100x zoom and I can't find many other pics to compare it to. I don't see any webbing or anything like that.

How humid is your grow room? Where do you think the PM would have come from?

No idea on humidity or where it came from besides maybe poor airflow from not having a fan

Hm.... yea i think i can see what youre seeing, its really tiny but i think its there. Not sure what it is, could be bug eggs or could be PM. Either way, keep a close eye. Dont let yourself overdo your fixes, most plants are killed by new owners because they care too much lol

I'm trying not to. I used the dilute and put some baking soda open in the room with it to draw out some humidity to at least make it dormant

Question. Should I trim these leaves off to provide light to the branches below? I don't want to take off too many and it not be able to absorb enough light bit I plan to start flower within the next week or so.
