First grow ever, closet/hydro grow. Need opinions/advice!

Well to tell you the truth i have joined almost all the other "imitation sites" such as roll it up, grass city, etc. But THC farmer has by far the most knowledgeable and helpful community out of all those loser sites. ANYWAY

So far this is my first time ever trying to grow weed, got tired of spending 50 (for an8th) every other day/ sometimes everyday. Yes i smoke alot.


Ok First Off this is a bedroom in my room, i leave door cracked if i close it with HPS on it get up to 99/100 and that is shit:icon_animal26:

Not very clean i know, only will have up to 2 buckets at once in flowering maybe three but will still clean up


Anyway, this seed, my first grow ever is an unknown strain, dont know if thats good or bad but to me it looks good :smirk

So with my closet, i have two fan blowing on the plant and i have a upper shelf thing that i want to turn into a veg room/shelf/grow area.
Equipment
600w HPS with basic hood/reflector.
t5 high output 8 tube flour cent for vegging.

Ignore the brown color, the flora nova bloom is a brown slimy sludge that turns roots brown..:shake

Ok, i have a pretty descent size hydroponic store about 20 mins away, staff all very smart and knowledgeable and seem to be growing exactly what i am...anyway they keep their advance nutrients in the back and when you ask for it they direct you to the much cheaper just as effective botanicare nutrients

i used the power plant for vegging the plant now but haven't used the power flower or blast off or MOAB or mother of all bloom powder which i was told is extremely extremely powerful anyyy one thats used it let me know the results and how to use it. :pimp:

Interesting thing you got there, i'm also at the first grow, also in my closet but i use CFL, my lightning is poor. What are the dimensions of your closet? looks rather small but it's nice. I like your bushy plant,and the canopy looks pretty nice, did you top it in veg to make it like this?
How much heat does the 600w HPS, what is the temperature with the door cracked?
You use the fan all the time,or only during lights on?
You could solve the problem with the cracked door by drilling a whole on the back top of the closet and using a fan to blow the air outside the growroom, after that you can close the door. I didn't wanted to drill wholes into my closet so i also leave the door open but sometimes you have guest's and must close it.
What light schedule do you use?

i topped in late veg the temp with the door cracked in 77 ish.
i also keep the fans constantly blowing, im 12/12 =]]

I dont know all there is to know by any means, but im sure I could at least point you in the right direction. Were all constantlyl learning on here.

Lol, well its hard for us to help with that man.
You just have to seal the light completely.
Hang a curtain or something over it.
Make sure air can still circulate though.

Enclose the top area for veg, leave the bottom area open. Easy as gettin some measuring tape, wood of some sorts, and some screws.

Just seal up the top, put some hinges on some wood that fits the area, and close er up....

Easy fix..
