Hello everyone, I’ve found a bag seed earlier this year. It’s not exactly legal to grow or even possess in where I live so it’s really hard to do it properly (buy proper seeds and grow a few plants at once etc), and I’m pretty sure the strain name my dealer gave me was not accurate at all, people don’t seem to have to knowledge to care about strains and stuff here.
I started just to try out what it was like, but then things got more serious and very fortunately it turned out to be a female too.
The plant is in a 60x60x140cm grow tent, theres only room for one plant but I think it’s quite spacious inside.
It spouted in early July and I’ve applied a semi- LST, leaving 2 sets of main stems to start with and now I have 16 colas. Switched to flower in early September and it about 45th day before of flower now. I didn’t realise that I had to change my watering schedule to fit it’s higher needs, and my shifts at work didn’t let me check on it every single day, so about 2 weeks ago I found that the plant was quite heavily underwatered and some big fan leaves have dried out. I have reschedule the watering and I think it’s doing okay now.
So I am only able to take some close ups with a 10x magnifier, not excellent but should be clear, I see some trichomes on the lower auger leaf have turned a little amber which is not very visible from the photo.
I’ve attached a few photos of the setting and different angles of the plant, I think I did quite badly at LST so the canopy is not flat at all :(
May I have your opinion on when would be a good timing to harvest? I’m planning to dry and cure the buds inside the grow tent due to limited space, will that work? It’s still summer but will go into autumn here soon and humidity will drop from 80% to around 40% here gradually. Also does the plant look like it’s deficient at any nutrients please?
To be honest I’m quite anxious as it gets closer to harvest, I have a hunch I’m going to mess up with the curing.
