I'm not using blurples.I dont mean to be rude or anything but why are you using blurple? Its the worst of all LEDs except for all blue or all red which are way worse. I see that youre using cool and warm white too with IR reinforcements, why not stick only with those since they give a full spectrum? (except for UV but they usually come with a few chips of both and if not its still not noticeable anyway, just a tiny boost on trichomes).
Oh so its UV and IR reinforcements then. Im guessing you keep the UV at just a few hours per day then?I'm not using blurples.
I have been experimenting with 440nm blues, 660nm deep reds, and 730nm far reds. Those lights are all on independent timers from my main light, a 630 watt Nanolux. In my other tent I have 2 ROI E720's with light controllers.
Actually in this run, I kept the UV on the shelf. I have 2 of California Lightworks UVB lamps and I have used them in other runs. This run was to see how strong blue light influences plant growth during flower. Using 440nm blue light and 660nm red light at different times during the grow, I can influence plant growth morphology. The 730nm reds were used to mimic the Emerson effect.Oh so its UV and IR reinforcements then. Im guessing you keep the UV at just a few hours per day then?
what have you found using those california lightworks uvb's? i have some and when i did use them for a few hours per day i got crispy ass leaves and no noticeable difference with trichomes.Actually in this run, I kept the UV on the shelf. It helps but I think not like many people think. Last study I checked last year about it said it was a 5% increase (a bit inconclusive, could have been the phenotype, they didnt say if it was seeds or clones) in trichome production but they failed to mention for how long they used it. I try to buy panels that have a couple of UV chips but I wouldnt go as far as to buy a full UVB bar. That said Im glad people do, they can tell us if they see a major difference. They do produce more trichomes to protect themselves against UV light but that doesnt mean that its gonna have more trichomes than a strain that naturally has more for example.what have you found using those california lightworks uvb's? i have some and when i did use them for a few hours per day i got crispy ass leaves and no noticeable difference with trichomes.
Yup yup. Yesterday I was a bit tipsy now Im getting you. Also needed to re-research and yesterday I wasnt gonna do it so I was stubborn instead, happens when I have a couple of beers thats why I never do. I always say something dumb that I regret the next day because I cant take my medication when I drink and alcohol doesnt do me any good either.I'll never use Sensi pH perfect. I promise you that. I'm happy with my results with the product line I use.
Earlier you spoke about feeding your plants carbs. Plants don't consume carbs. When you add carbs to your soil, you're feeding microbes. The microbes then feed your plants ... This is where you keep running into resistance to your ideas. You're only getting half of what you're saying right. Plants do not eat carbs!
Sorry for being so blunt with you yesterday, I still think youre still wrong but I was a dickOP makes it clear - the problem is way over watering and bad nutrient selection.
Roadkill explains the water problem.
But you can’t feed a plant a shit ton of P (which it doesn’t need) with no N in veg (or bloom) and not expect your plant to yellow.
IMO the entire bloom feed is a bunch of B.S. to sell bottles of junk you don’t need. No need to get all hung up on numbers, but generally a ratio of ~2–1-3 NPK should get you through a grow without wasting money on silly sweeteners, sugar, or “candy”.
Piss in a bottle and mix with 1:10 water there is your veg nuteThe strain is cookie gelato, I barely feed her in veg stage, I bought nutrient for the bloom only not knowing she would need more.
I used to water everyday and feeding every other day instead of water, then yellow leafs started to appear and I let her 2days without watering but it got worst, then it stopped when I increased the amount 1.7l instead of 1l
I'm using sensi bloom part a+b i put about 8ml in 2l, I alternate with big Budd another 8ml per 2l
I think it stopeed growing tall, last time I had to adjust lights was like a week ago
Thanks
As much as I hate it, its true. I cant do it because I take medications and if you do take medications I dont suggest you do it but if youre not its a good NPK boost when highly diluted.Piss in a bottle and mix with 1:10 water there is your veg nute
That made me fucking laugh I dont know why, I guess its the idea. Is the weed good? Im not sure about the ratios of NPK that piss has but if he is only feeding piss it shouldnt be a problem I guess. Damn, Im still smiling at it.I know a guy that grows indoor with only piss soo i guess no bad smell. But carbon filter will remove all smells if any come soo
No crispy leaves, but no noticeable difference in trichome resin production either. If I felt they worked and did what they were supposed to do, they would still be in use today. Instead they are on the shelf with other gear I stopped using.what have you found using those california lightworks uvb's? i have some and when i did use them for a few hours per day i got crispy ass leaves and no noticeable difference with trichomes.
