duct tape is the binding force that holds the universe togetherDay 6 since the flip (flipped them last Friday) Noticing them stretching and some older foliage yellowing off but holding out until 3 weeks into flip to do a final defoliation. They were fed today. Still on veg nutes until next Friday when Iāll start mixing in flower nutes until they switch to full flower nutes when I actually see some flower forming. All are expressing as female but will continue to monitor for any possible herms. I know it looks packed in there but itāll look more tame once I do defoliate again haha bonus pics of the one plant I fully snapped and itās recovery as well as a nice side shot to show the stretching on the OG Kush.
Fun fact the OG Kush and the White Widow actually are about a 70/80-30/20 mix of ocean forest and happy frog(perlite added of course). I ran out of happy frog on transplant day so I decided to just do a heavier mix of the ocean forest and they handled it just fine. Safe to say it even gave them a boost at the start of veg before I really started to feed them. It really does depend on the cultivar though as Iāve had some that even on the 50/50 blend seemed to get burnt early on. Autos seem to be pickier which really sucks cause you canāt really waste time and if they burn/stunt thats potential growth you miss out on. Iāve had some tiny autos as a result of poor quality of life the first few weeks lol for reference first 2 pics is one of the first auto runs I did, 2x2x4 tent and 3 plantsā¦third pic is the one I did right after in the same tent with one plant. Definitely is a trial and error thing too hahaThat soil mix makes life easy! That is exactly what I went with for my comeback to soil, and I couldn't be happier. For the next round I may adjust the mix to 70% OF and 30% HF to see how clones and young plants take to it. Others run straight OF with no issues, cultivar depending of course.
Your grow is looking fantastic! I flipped on April 17th - we're pretty much on the same timeline. I can't wait to see how your OG Kush turns out because I'm keen to start a couple of my own in the next 6-9 months.
I'm starting to think autos are to cannabis what AMC was to vehicles!Fun fact the OG Kush and the White Widow actually are about a 70/80-30/20 mix of ocean forest and happy frog(perlite added of course). Hey now autos still serve a purpose theyāre just picky and you have to be prepared for disappointmentā¦and theyāre not as pretty to look at sometimesā¦I'm starting to think autos are to cannabis what AMC was to vehicles!![]()
And of course, I got some freebie auto seeds coming.Hey now autos still serve a purpose theyāre just picky and you have to be prepared for disappointmentā¦and theyāre not as pretty to look at sometimesā¦
I stand corrected yes they are comparable to AMCs ācontributionsā to vehicles![]()
Word to the wise: if theyāre autos start them in straight happy frog and go to the ocean forest mix when you transplant them. Itās the best way Iāve found to prevent burn/stunt issues. NEVER do straight ocean forest for starting autosā¦justā¦trust meAnd of course, I got some freebie auto seeds coming.
I can't NOT grow them. And to add insult to injury, these freebies are supposed to be quick finishing. Yay.
