Definitely had a few issues this grow(wouldn’t be a grow without them 🤣) but I think I’ll end up with something decent to show for them. The plan for now is to harvest one of the green crack and the 2 kush first and then leave the other 2 gc the special queen and the white widow to finish up. The kushs should be finished within the next few weeks and I wanted to harvest one of the green cracks when I chopped them as I wanted to test that against the ones I let ripen more. I figured that way as well when the buds ripen more the humidity should be a tad lower and airflow a bit better to prevent any mold as the white widow buds seem to be bulking up a bit. I have a 4x4 tent I’m using to dry and once everything is chopped or close to I’ll be starting my seeds for next round. Starting them all in the 5x5 then I’ll separate them into the 2 tents once everything’s dried and I go to transplant them probably. Did 7 this round, doing 10/11 next round. Still within my limits so all is good haha

The 2 kush plants are getting close. Still planning on chopping June 13th along with one of the green cracks as an experiment of sorts lol the rest will finish another few weeks or until they tell me they’re ready.

So the special queen ended up being a special drag queen🙃 she threw a few bananas between last night and today. Was planning on chopping her on Friday so at the risk of any more popping up I’m just going to call this one early and chop herm. I guess this was it’s way of celebrating pride month 😂

New tent will be in by Tuesday. I’ll be moving her to the tent as soon as I get it up. Have her in a dark cool closet (62f) with a small fan to circulate air for now.

New tent is up and in the kitchen for now as the kitchen is much cooler than my grow room. New fans coming in today to get air circulated in the tent. Have an inline fan already installed but more air flow the better. My new trim tray also came in. Pretty neat little tray and came with 2 new sets of pruners which is always about bonus haha

Nice job man! Ive been taking looks from time to time but rewatching the whole thread from start to finish of the grow to refresh my memory was certainly worth it 👍 I still dont remember what problem they had but whatever it was you handled it like a champ. I assume from what you say that you were probably not feeding them correctly and readjusted, they turned out nicely, too bad about the hermy but happens from time to time, hopefully she will smoke good too

Been busy but I’ll post some updates soon. Special queen is curing at the moment as will the one green crack and the og kush soon enough. Also doing a qwiso run tonight on some bulk trim/shake/etc I have saved up.

Had to adjust some times due to a trip I have to take. Harvested everything by June 14th. Got the last of things trimmed and bagged today. Still making qwiso with the trim/shake it’ll be a few rounds before I can get through it all. Noticed the green crack was starting to form some seeds on some lower sites so more than likely missed a banana or the ones I found previously managed to get to them. Hard to tell. Wasn’t on the whole plant though and if it ends up being too seedy good thing it’s for personal use and I can always just use it to make more wax. This next round will be even better though now that I have things dialed in more. Total weight was approximately 22 ounces of flower and another 14 ounces of shake/trim/etc. As I said all of my shake is being turned into wax. I’ll try to get a total weight on that as well but that’ll be hard with me taking samples haha

Nice selection excellent grow thanks sharing.
I'm curious in your impression of white label classics vs private breeder unless i read the list wrong.

I decided to get back intro growing after a few year hiatus. Prior to that, I had grown quite a few times with various methods and had relatively good success. I definitely learned a lot throughout the first few and continue to learn things to this day. When I was growing previously I was utilizing vivosun tents and mars hydro lighting. Venting was usually either vivosun or spider farmer and clips fans etc were whatever I found that seems applicable/affordable. For this grow I changed it up a little bit still tried to stay within guidelines I used in previous grows.

Specs-
Tent: Zazzy 60x60x78in- this tent had relatively good reviews and I was confident with my ability to patch any holes so I went with it. On sale I got it for $89 from Amazon. I do have to say I prefer the quality of the Vivosun(reflecting siding is a lot smoother), but all in all seems to be a decent tent for the price.
Exhaust: Vivosun 6in 395cfm and going to install an additional booster I have if needed which is a generic brand called hon and guan says it’s 325cfm but doesn’t seem to be but should provide useful for the $19 invested in it
Light: Baylabs 720w 6 Bar ECO light. I know some say for a 5x5 to get upwards of 1000w but I’m use to growing in 2x2 and 3x3 with 100-150w. Light has good reviews and measurements are nearly identical to the specs listed.
Fans: Vivosun 6in Aero fans got a 2 pack on sale
Humidifier: Generic one I had on hand
Medium: Mixture of Fox Farms Happy Frog, Fox Farms Ocean Forest, and additional perlite approximately 30%.
Nutrients: Fox Farms Trio fed every other watering,Fox Farms cal mag fed 1x week
Water: For the humidifier I use RO water to prevent scaling, for watering I use PH adjusted tap water tested with General Hydroponics testing kit. Considering using RO for this as well as I do use cal mag and I get it for 25 cents a gallon at the store across the street. Any thoughts?
Strains:
Green Crack x3 by Samurai Squirrel Genetics
Special Queen #1
OG Kush
Special Kush #1
White Widow all by Royal Queen Seeds

Lighting schedule is 18/6 with lights off between 11am-5pm to help control heat. When it’s time for flowering I’ll be running 12/12 with lights off from 7am-7pm. Green Crack sprouted on 02/28. The others sprouted between 03/10-03/11

Been fun so far. Correcting issues as I see them arise. Intending on increasing the light intensity from 40-60% for vegetative growth over the next week or so as well.
Welcome back, Im in different stages of my second grow, finishing up some autos....have my long winded photo stativas starting to preflower. Im a Ohio guy as well....my pots on my patio I believe just went into preflower....good for long winded stativas but not so sure for the rest.
I as well am doing the Vivosun equipment. It was what I started with, have 100watt LED lights one per plant. I have a 400watt LED light for my 4x4 tent.
Good luck to you sir.

Great diary. V insightful. I need to look into this wax recipe. Looks like a pretty amenable tech.
What are these little RH bags please?
