Hi All, I'm fairly new grower and was told that coco would be a great place to start. Currently growing 1 plant, Gorilla Glue auto from FastBuds. She was thriving for the first few weeks and started showing signs, at around 24 days, of what I think is calcium deficiency but would love to get a second opinion. The tent is 80x80x200cm with 2 mars hydro ts1000 lamps with a constant 20/4 cycle. Growing in a 19L fabric pot using Top Crop Top Coco as my substrate. Temps are about 28C with 75%RH during the day and at the night drop to 24C and 50%RH. There's one fan that is on the same 20/4 cycle as the lamps, its not super stuffy in there as I also have some of the side panels open on the tent for more air flow. I'm growing using all Top Crop nutrients as that is what is available where I live, they are supposed to be full organic from how the store told me. The water is always pH 6.0~6.3, when I just give water with no nutrients its closer to 6.0, with nutrients 6.3 since I read that feeding organic to coco its better for the pH to be a bit closer to 6.5.
Feeding wise, 3 days after sprouting and putting in coco I gave 0.2ml per 600L/water of top crop deeper underground. Then one week from the initial feeding gave top crop big one 0.8ml per 1L/water. Another week later, top crop top auto 1ml and top crop top candy 1ml all mixed in 1L/water. For some reason I decided to feed her, 3 days after the previous feeding, some top crop cal-mag (1ml per 1L/water). Everything was looking great but when I went to feed her again in a couple of days, I noticed that, only on the top most leaves, there was some weirdness with a few of the leaves. I still gave the usual plus some calmag for a total of top crop top auto 1.3ml + 1.5ml top crop top candy + 0.2ml top crop cal-mag for 1L/water. That was 2 days ago and now I'm seeing a bit more of the top leaves develop the same discoloration.
I'm guessing that the name of the nutrients alone isn't going to tell anyone much so I found the composition of each online, hopefully that paints a better picture of where I could have overfed/underfed.

Looking for some tips/opinions on what I could have done wrong to cause the plant to develop the spots on her leaves =( and what on earth I could do to fix or mitigate this from getting out of control. I'm a bit worried as I had a few previous grows but I'm not kidding when I say those plants where half the size at harvest, as this current plant was at 3 weeks, and I really want this one to succeed. Thanks for reading!

Every photo your coco looks dry!

Coco is hydrophobic
It doesn’t retain moisture
It’s very oxygenated,

When I was in coco mid veg large plants like yours mine was drinking like 2/4L a day

About a gallon come flower time

Insure you add nutrients every feed

I’d honestly suggest the wee water rings or a drip system figure out the flow rate
Nd ensure constant moisture in the medium set it up on a timer,

If not ensure you’re hand watering and fully wetting the medium

The rust spots could be a number of things
Could be a deficiency
Or a ph lockout

Good thing is coco is basically hydro so if you’re dealing with any problems you can buffer the coco pretty easily
Ad a little cal mag to your feed ph to 6.0/6.2
Give it a good buffer to reset the ph nd fully moistening the root area
Try not to let it dry out

Don’t think of your coco as soil
It’s shredded coconut hust it’s just fibres
Very hard to over water in coco
Unless your pots are sitting in runoff

Add risers nd runoff trays
Keep the medium saturated but not much
Tiny bit of cal mag should go a long way for these plants

Once the rust spots disappear nd the colour turns back to a dark green cut out the cal mag completely
To much can effect the end taste of your flower

I hope this helps others should know more than me this is just my thoughts looking at your photos

Thank you so much for the input, it felt like i was not giving enough water, picking the pot up to check how heavy it was and it was always pretty darn light. Ives since put a basin under the pot and started to give it some water from bottom up as ive always given top down and noticed small roots sticking out of the top of the coco. On the bright side, since ive started giving about 1.5L bottom up and 1L top down, she grew a good amount, when I add the water to the basin, in about 15 minutes its all gone, does that mean i should be adding more? I cant seem to find any risers for the pots so i dont want to overwater and have her sitting in runoff water.
When you say add nutrients every feed, like every time i water the plant, because that's pretty much daily? ive been going off of Top Crop's feeding schedule and giving it 1 proper feed a week. Should i just split that same dosage and feed the plant nutrients daily?

Everytime yess

Coco is hydro phobic so the plant only drinks the nutes as it passes the roots or is available for drinking

So there isn’t really much worry about daily buildup in the medium aslong as u water to run off

I was feeding daily at about 2/4L a day at around 2.1 ec plants loved it

The aim of the game with coco it’s to not let it dry out

Your 1st set of Photos are showing Variegated Leaf, very common in cannabis (and many other plants), this is not caused by deficiency/toxicity. Your pots should be on risers so they drain freely (watering to runoff every time you water) they should be top watered and they should not be sitting in their own runoff.

You seem to have missed the required reading... without the fundamentals, "You Shall Not Pass"!

You should start Here.... https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/toc/#fertilizers-water

good luck farmer
