I have ordered a grow tent kit from MarsHydro, and it will arrive soon I hope. I will try and keep my diary active every time I do stuff etc…

All info about the tent at the bottom⬇️

I will start as soon as the tent is here!!!

my first grow in the upcoming tent will be Pineapple kush (fem). I think I will start with a 8litre pot (2.11 gallons) and then switch to a bigger one later on or i will use the pots that came with the tent

i have experimented a little with growing but never indoor and especially with a tent, so it’s a whole new thing for me.

If u see some mistakes along the way or have a tip for me I’m more than happy to listen.

I started to germinate the seed 24. August 2026

the seeds I have:

1x Pineapple kush (fem)

1x Royale gorilla (auto)

1x Bubble kush (auto)

3x blueberry bubba (I think fem, bought in Germany)

1x super boof (fem)

1x blue haze x gelato 41 (auto)

1x lost pearl/silver pearl ibl (fem)

I have also put two stickers on behind my incline fan and carbon filter because I thought the looked nice and I also placed to thermo/hydro meter on the soil (if it’s a bad place for it please tell me, i want to learn)

A minor update

So my pineapple kush didn’t sprout or even come out of the soil so I will declare it dead.
And I have startet germinating another seed called blueberry bubba and currently waiting for that. I haven’t opened the paper i have placed it in to look etc except for day two. But still nothing from that seed either. I will give it till Tuesday or maybe Wednesday and if it haven’t sprouted I will also declare it dead

But I have some other seeds so it is what it is 🤷🏽‍♂️

It can be tough to start a seed or seedling in the middle of a larger pot, they need a lot of moisture.
Ive found higher temperatures helped a lot with my germination speed/rate. I like a wet paper towel in sealed plastic cup on a seedling heat mat - then transfer to dirt at 1-2"

What MarsHydro soil sensor is that?

My GrowTrackr software pulls and analyzes all the data from MarsHydro sensors.

I haven't seen this one and want to make sure I've got support for it.

Here's what i do to sprout seeds. Needs to be warm area works best for me. Then take the sprout and bury it just about 1" in the soil and put a shot glass over it to hold the humidity and moisture don't over wet the soil just damp.

Yeah I also thought about that but he have grown before and told me i should try so maybe I just wasted a seed but it is what it is

The sensor is for temp and humidity I think, so I have just put it as close to he soil as possible because I can control my whole setup thru the MarsHydro app. I got the sensor with the tent kit, and idk if it is for soil but when I spray water and the water hit it the humidity goes so high up so I think it’s for temp and humidity

Send me a dm if u want

What is it in the bag? Cotton?
I normally put it in a cup of water for like 24 hours and tap the seed after the 24 hours is gone if it sinks then I put it in some paper towels or some cotton pads and in a siplock bag and in a warm and dark place and then I check it every 1 day to see if it have popped

Nutrients question:
have also bought some nutrients, the guy who worked in the shop were I bought the soil recommended me these, isn’t it too early to use it now? I was thinking maybe when it was a bit older

I also got some salt thing to get the ph down because my ph from the sink is between 7.8 - 8.4 and the alkaline is like 180 and I found it there is very little chlorine in the water also 🤮

I make the ph is between 6.0 - 6.2

I will water it when the coco is more dry. You can see in the picture that the top is dry and under that it’s still wet/moist

Also I’m wondering if I should give the nutrients when I need to water it again?

what was the NPK of the one you used?
those 2 round first leaves are called cotyledon leaves, when they start to yellow is a sign that all the nutrients etc that the plant needed to get started has depleted and than you start feeding,.
yes you can give very tiny amounts but i’d wait till it’s a bit better situated and a bit bigger,..

Good luck mate I’d lift that light up though seedlings don’t need much light at all you don’t wanna fry the things as soon as their head pops out your better off having the light to high and lower it as needed 👍
