First grow, is everything going to plan?

location: central VA

Strain: northern lights fem (Canuk seeds)

Germination: late march

transplanted into 5 gallon and moved outdoors in late april using Gaia green 4 4 4, pro mix hp/worm castings at about a 2:1 ratio, mixed in some mykos and a splash of fish shit that I later realized was doing nothing because you need to do it every watering or something along those lines

Did some LST, topped her, and let her grow for a couple months until I transplanted her into a 10 gallon with the same mix and a couple week later I started seeing pistils!
Side note: I was very happy about this because she is close to a light pole in the middle of a field that cannot be turned off (thanks land lord)

She had showed some deficiencies before transplant that had went away for the most part when I then top dressed with a full dose of power bloom by Gaia green which I later realized was the wrong direction to go because she now looks like she has some nute burn as well as deficiencies once it kicked in about a week and a half later.

My other concern is that over a month later after seeing the first pistils I am seeing no further progress in flower, is this because of the light post? Or is this delay in preflowers normal? I did notice that the white hairs on the pistils turn orange after a few days. Maybe this could be a give away? Any advice on either one of the subjects would be greatly appreciated!

After looking at the pictures, something to note is the yellowing of leaves has gotten a bit worse as well over the last few days since taking that picture

Looks sickly like it's been drowned. Let it dry out and trim all the yellow leaf off. You gotta be attentive or else you get what you got. Looks like bug damage also. Being under a light is no good either.

My brother thought the same thing with it looking like it’s been overwatered however I’ve been watering only when the pot feels significantly lighter which has been a lot easier since up-potting to a 10 gallon. This comes out to roughly every other night with the 90-100 degree weather that I thought was causing that droopiness.

I’ve been battling the bugs for months now and just recently started treating it with crop defender which is a mix of a bunch of different all natural oils to prevent the pests so I hope to see some improvement over the next couple weeks having done that

I plan on moving her to a different spot of the yard that is shielded by the house from the outdoor light however it does get shady during the afternoon and evening because it would be on the east side of the house rather than the south like it sits right now.

Lastly I definitely plan on trimming her up but is there anything else I should do to combat my accident with power bloom? For reference about 2-3 weeks ago I top dressed with the labeled 1tbsp/gallon a week or so after seeing the first pistils.

It's called chlorosis and there are multiple possible causes. Nutrient deficiency is common. During the latter stages of growth, plants will move mobile nutrients from lower leaves to the flowers. Flowering is the reproductive stage and the most important for continuation of the species, so it is the highest priority.

I used growers ally crop defender 3 last weekend and will use it again this weekend in an effort to control the bugs that have only gotten worse this week. I’m now seeing multiple small spiders nests and lots of other small bugs that need to go

How should I change up my watering schedule? Like I said I go by weight of the pot as that seems to be the most accurate way to measure when to water without any measuring tools, and when I water I water with roughly 3-4 gallons until there is run off at the bottom of the fabric pot. Having said this most of the time it is every other day or every 3 days that I water

I trimmed up a majority of the yellow leaves but I left the ones that’s are still turning color

Things are happening! Lots of pre-flowers emerging on the beautiful lady, it has been much cooler the past week after I moved her and she seems to have boosted into flower with the added darkness and lower temps.

At this point I’ve trimmed off all the large yellowing leaves with only a couple here and there, this weekend when I have the time to I will be trimming off the remainder of the yellowing leaves and any large fan leaves blocking the bud sites.

I let her dry out for a good 4-5 days (it was cooler so it took an extra day to get to the point I felt was ready, but wanted to dry her out a little to see if the droopiness was cause from that. I also sprayed a generous amount of growers ally crop defender 3 and that seemed to take care of the bugs

Needless to say now? She is much perkier then before though still not perfect, she has lots less yellowing leaves with not many more showing back up, and her pre flowers that I was so patiently waiting on have finally showed so all it on the up and up! Thanks growers!
