Got my dry tent up and ready to rock and roll!

System all together: and yeah I’ll do something about the duct work and layout before my next run. :) I hate messy and clutter.

Also look at those legs on my tall freak plant! Again yes same strain same everything for both! Her legs are taller than her sister!

I did a fairly extensive dead leaf and damaged leaf defoliation on both after these were shot. Got about a two gallon bags worth of crap.

Also how does everyone get such steady shots of trichomes? I tried with a magnifier for my phone and a microscope. I can never get a clear enough shot. And all the ones I do get they all look cloudy.

I really need to take her down in order to salvage what I can off her sister plant. What do you all think?

I’ll be using it as a veg tent as well so I figured dual purpose might as well spend the 50 bucks for it. I have a Mars hydro 1000 for veg for it already.

So put my macro lens on my phone and got a few better trichrome pics. Might look small but you can really zoom in. After all that I definitely have at least a week more to go. You can see they are still 2/3 clear in one of those shots. I also think I am going to up my IR/UV for the last week and a half now. Burnt leaves or not I want hash if these buds are not as tasty as I hope for.

Are you going by breeder timeline? Looks like you still have 2-3weeks left. Still mostly clear, patience is key at this point. I'm at 15 weeks today on my Autos. This one was 90 days seed to harvest, according to the breeder. Still not really any amber, all cloudy though.

And getting good clear shots takes practice. I have a USB microscope and a loupe used over my phone camera. These were with the loupe. The scope is tricky, needs to be extremely steady, so a good mount is needed.

The longest seed to harvest time by all breeders was 80 days, the breeder for this strain claims 70. I’m at day 72 today. But I am 50/50 cloudy clear still. I figure another week and a half which will put me at around 13 weeks for this auto. My other plant will be going for at least 16-17 weeks if I can get this one harvested so I can get the other away from the heat and lights better. And yes they are the exact same strain from the same breeder.

Day 72: Well it definitely smells like a hot plant in there. Did a bit of husbandry yesterday pulling out a lot of dead foliage and damaged leaves. But that is about it other than getting my drying tent set up and hooked into the system.

River is still burning up but she is being a trooper and flowering right through it. I can see the flowers get a bit bigger every day. She won’t have the best yield but it will be something hopefully. She will do much better after I can move her over and spread and super crop her branches out after I harvest Clara in a little over a week.

Clara is getting more and more brown pistils which I hope is a good sign at this stage. Still no amber trichomes but we are at over half cloudy so far. Still have not seen them “swell” or what I assume that should look like.

When checking my reservoir today the PH was at 6.4 which is a bit high for me. But I will be making enough nutrients today to fill the reservoir to the top and I will see what the PH is then. I might PH down the entire thing to 5.8 tomorrow morning before I leave town just to be safe.

Day 78?? : Yup just got back from about 5 days or so away yesterday afternoon. So not sure what week or day I am on anymore . But it looks like everything survived just fine. I even still had enough water in my reservoir for a few more days.

River is still putting on weight pretty well. Kind of fun to see how much not being able to really see her for quite a few days. She is going to love me later today though, you will find out why below. But, beyond that she really greened up well and bud growth is awesome with those advanced nutrients. I might actually switch permanently. I’ll try to do a 5 day bud growth comparisons between GH and AN later. But some of her flowers are already bigger than Clara, but in claras defense she was a shorty.

Clara is ready to be cut down. She has had long enough and River needs the space to finish out her flower cycle. So that being said I am going to chop her down today . She is mostly red pistils and is all cloudy maybe just a scattering of clear trichomes. She is not putting on anymore weight and only a few new white pistils. I will post wet weights and pictures of the trim. I think I am going to just cut the fans off dry then do a dry trim. I want as slow a dry as possible. Woot woot the time is here!

As for my reservoir. I didn’t even check the PH since I got back. I will check it later today and report back. But I have enough water left in it for a few more days. That was a pleasant surprise. I thought for sure it would be bone dry with 5 feedings a day for two plants and only 22 gallons maybe in it. Next run with one plant I should be just fine leaving for an entire week.

Any way it is nice being back but also I wish I was sitting by the lake again. :) have a good day farmers!

Yeah what a long strange trip it has been to the outer limits already! Also thanks! They are fat and happy. I think I will turn off Clara from the auto feed today and start hand watering her plain RO for a few days. If I can keep up with it at least.

I have it at about 70% I didn’t want to lower the intensity to much since Clara is so short. So I had to find a sweet spot. But once Clara is removed and I can spread out River I might be able to up it a bit.

Well I did it I chopped Clara!!! After looking at her 90% of the flower sites had amber on the upper and mid calyxes… also I needed the room. Took about 4-5 hours to get her chopped and all fan leaves removed and hung up to dry. Total weight with stems cut as short as I could I got 780g or 27.514 ounces wet. Now if it is true you get a 3rd of the dry weight and I remove 7 ounces from the Total for stems alone. That is still 20/3 = 6.66oz Clara was the devil!!! We will see in a week or so what the final weight is after dry trimming as well. I also have about 2oz of popcorn larf wet weight I am drying separately.

With River now able to spread out, she should or could double that. As her young flowers are already almost as big as clara’s where. I will be tying her down here shortly after I do a bit of tent floor cleanup and rearranging.

Over all I am very pleased with this first plant harvest. And I still got one more to go! Stay tuned for the continuing saga of River Song and her eventual demise.

Really though, wow! Nicely done! Clara is just as beautiful when she's dismembered and hanging in your S&M chamber... excuse me, "drying tent" as she was in her prime.

I can't wait to see what kind of opportunities this makes for River. Lord know she will need some good news to recover from her disappointing trip to space.

Day 79?: Again I think it’s day 79 which would make it Rivers 5th week flower? Oi who knows. Been a rough week.

Gave Clara a quarter turn spin on her drying rack today. Just want to ensure an even dry. This will be her 2nd day in the tent this afternoon. She was really heavy and dense so this is going to take at least 10+ days I feel for a good slow dry. But we will see. My lung room is around 45% RH hence why I left some more leaves than most on her. Forgot to check my humidity in the dry tent this morning.

River is finally in the middle of the tent and not tied up. Removed the string I had to keep her from covering Clara’s light source as well as the trellis net. So far I have only hand pushed the branches to get them out of the way. She already is filling this 2.3x2.3 on her own. But I will have to super crop some and tie the outside branches toward the tent walls today at some point. The flower sites I had to cut the tops off are now producing some super square but dense 2-4 site tops she is a trooper! I am noticing she is not yet as frosty as Clara was at this age. But, I’ll be blasting her with some UV/IR soon. I think I will have to do this from the bottom and am wondering how that will work if at all.

I finally ran out of nutrients in the reservoir yesterday evening. So I disinfected and cleaned it. I made more solution using advanced nutrients line. I used 7.5ml/g each of Connoisseur coco bloom A and B with 3.75ml/g B-52 and 3.75ml/g of Big Bud coco for the first batch of 6 gallons of solution. For the second I swapped Big Bud for Overdrive to do a 50/50 mix. It PH’d at 6.1 after mixing so I left it alone. This should let me over a week with on plant.
