First grow

Hey!!!

Recently built a grow room and sprouted some seeds!!!

having a lot of fun, transplated them into 5 gallon buckets

had a little light problem at first, causing one of my plants to start flowering :dull but i was told it would be ok if i threw it back into veg????

caused some strectching too, changed the light to a flurocent and lowered it. just wanted to see what you guys think???

I also wanted to know if I co2 bomb the plants, do they need to be in darkness...or does it even really matter??

Nice 1st post. Just a few ?s. What genetics are they? Why are you planning on using co2 already? No offense but why did you fill the buckets half way? You should be able to reverse the flowering and at least, now you know her sex. GL with your grow and welcome to the farm. -PDX

i'm a total newbie and all critisim rocks!!!

They are filled half way simply because I thought the amount of soil would suffice, would you suggest adding more soil at this point?

I wanted to use co2 because I feel like they could be healthier since I had some trouble in the beginning, I'm not really sure when it's ok to start though

Planning on inning my grow room or maybe painting it white so they can get some more light too

ya, i guess i can always just tell people i meant to flower it to make sure it wasn't a boy...hahahah jk

btw...the strains are

Yumbolt-47 (smaller, flowering plant)

and

Pakistan Ryder (bigger, fuller plant)

Is there anyway I can get some input on wheter or not i can replant my stretching plant up to it's cotyledon leaves??

I know it helps to make the stem grow stronger (which my babies obviously need) :)
but feel like it might be too late to do something like that?

Update

so my leaves DID end up filling out beautifully and i was worried about nothing...lol

thank you for all the gl wishes!!!

i'm loving my plants to death right now

I filled the buckets up with more soil and put a fan on my stretching plant to make the stem stronger...

I have to admit, i'm a little sad cuz i let a buddy come over to look at the girls and he ended up pruning them which, in my opinion, was a little too soon

but we'll see what happens!!!

i'll post up some pictures soon of my progress!!!

If the plants are stretching.....usually means the light isn't strong enough.
