I'd be afraid of mold from the fresh leaves. Don't do this.
if you have to worry about mold from fresh leaves I'm afraid to ask what the bud looks like lol 🤣

iykyk, leaves are the way to go. you put it in the jar usually for just a few hours if that. No much is needed. It is the most natural way to add moisture to your overly dry product

that would work, better than any other method i've heard over the years, hopefully i don't need to use it tho LOL :-)

you can use fresh leaves to raise rh in a jar, boveda will ruin your terps
I'm assuming you're talking about fresh cannabis leaves?

Never done this myself but checking to make sure, in case I ever need to try it out.

Yes exactly, ofc this only helps perpetual growers but it can be very effective, quick and easy.

I have used lemon peels in the past which work great however they do change the taste and flavor of the buds IMO. Lettuce seems to work really well and does not seem to change the flavor or taste.

I am using these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HLHCSBL?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1 in my jars. I used them before and they seemed to work well. On this harvest they are not working as well. I think the bud was too dry before going into jars. One was before the 7 day hang time (full plant) the other around 8 days hanging time (full plant).

Jars are ranging from 39-48% RH. They are less than a week in cure. I have reduced the burping time and frequency but still dry. I was hoping the moisture regulators would help however, as someone mentioned...... I too am thinking that these just regulate moisture and not add it.

In short.... I recommend a piece of lettuce for re-hydrating. Great source of natural moisture and will not change the taste. Depending on the piece you put in your jar, thicker pieces will hydrate faster and more than thinner pieces, watch your humidity levels and remove once you are in your range. 😁

I think that even if they are a little dry. Some moisture will come out of the center of the buds while curing and it will be less dry than you think
