first nft . pics. please look

Hello . Hear are pictures of a nft set up with a few probloms . To meny in there for a start . So i think lack off oxygen in roots ' its got worse as there got older . Set up is running 3 pumps one with 1 stone 2 stones and 4 stones plus oxy+ is added 50ml a day for past few days..... Useing the vita link max a + b grow and bloom . Some were seeds started couple weeks after cutting was well established . So had problums with keeping them all happy at same time . Couple of them have basicly died they are there still dont get me rong but they are bone dry buds can smoke it off the plant . Anyways have a quick look and tell me what you think. ... Be for you do i know its not surgucly clean in there . And i know my spelling is bad. Ph is now on 6ish and ec i try keep at 1,6 now but it did go up to 2,2

Looks like over watering or maybe too little potash and phos. Definitely a root proplem. Try flushing your plants.

I wouldn't trust those pH kits. Especially with something like nft

Some of that stuff looks dead. Some still looks salvageable. Get rid of the dead stuff and save it for hash

Def need a heavy flush (I'd fill the res, let's it run for a few, then drain, several times)

I did nft for a while. I found the key to be lots and lots of water movement.

What about removeing the roots ? It will cause probloms wont itt

I'd leave them n blast them with some h202 or some zone

I've only ever taken roots off in veg. I wouldn't advise it, although I've never tried it in flower

I am having problem getting to flower correctly ,but I have to say that is a good mess in there get that old stuff cleaned up it only invites problems leaving your room like that. I have seen some rooms on here that will make you see what I mean. Clean room, clean plants, clean water= healthy plants LOL just kidding ,but for real that's a mess!

yeah i know its dirty but like i say i dont have daily access to this site . and cnt make a man clean in his own house thats cheeky lol . ok so i pulled out the 2 bad one gave the rest full dose of phyoff for couple days . now ive emptyed the res and gave them a dose off cannazym . ill probly leave it 2days then swap bk to phyoff for rest of grow . i see whiter new roots comeing from top of rockwool so least they trying . any way im holding e.c at 1.6 and ph is allowed to drift slighty . peace out people

Watch the cannazyme. It can work wonders but it can make things worse under the wrong conditions

q, masterscrog is 100% correct, get that place cleaned up or you will have nothing but problems from here out. If you are not willing to clean it up I would simply recommend shutting down and finding a different hobby.

Secondly, stop using that color chart method to determine pH. Based on the color in that picture you are much closer to 6.5 than to 6.0; the ideal pH level is 5.8 with a slight fluctuation between 5.5 and 6.0. Those means of checking pH are highly inaccurate, so invest in a digital meter. You spent all that money on a truncheon meter, but you cheaped out on the pH meter, I just don't get that. I would not be surprised in the least if all of you rissues are related to pH problems.

Can you also get a better picture of the system up, it is very hard to see exactly what your set-up looks like. DO you have STG mats in the bottom of a gutter with rockwool blocks sitting on top? If that is the case why?

ok advice understood. ill be checking them tomow will give it a clean . and get some pictures of the whole system. . its just a basic nft 1.sumthing metre squared. with spredder mat and rockwool block sat on top of that i just assumed that was rite thing to do . color chat is all i have at the min better than nothing lol.

here are some more pics the cannazym didnt really do anythink by the looks of it so now its just going to have the phyfoff stuff from rest of grow . i dropped ph a bit as advised . i tryed to get better puctures of the whole thing . ive swopped 50 ml of bloom for grow neutes to see if yellowing stops . more bud xl added in replase for bloom . all adds up to 1,6ec. ph is well who knows but its closer to yellow this time . you can see in on of the pictures where i pulled one out . added a pic of my air pump with four outlets also got a two and a one manifold pump in 100l tank . anyways comments welcome . i did clean up just after the pics lol
