I think it's valid and you're probably right in that it's targeted for either beginners or people who don't like constantly checking and correcting the pH. I just don't know how well it is at actually doing what they claim or if it's really an advantage. I'm going to try to find the chart that shows at what pH different nutrients are available and try to upload it for those not familiar with it. In drain to waste I have been staying at 5.9 in coco and having great results and I wonder how the PH Perfect line would work in that situation. It's recommend to throw away your meters and I just can't get with that because I have to see what's going on and I like you enjoy the process. It's a passion for me and I'm not looking to cut any corners. Cost however is a different story lol.Maybe that's a noob reply to something of that. I think it's rather fun checking, monitoring, adjusting.
I know what chart you're talking about. Let me do some rechecking and I'm sure I can get back to it and load it up here.I think it's valid and you're probably right in that it's targeted for either beginners or people who don't like constantly checking and correcting the pH. I want to open up into what you said before, how some of those elements are at their peak with ph in the 6's. Now that is obviously correct based on that chart posted too. My question would be is it ok for your plant to consume all those elements at those doses all at once? Let me say the question again like this, at what point (ph) is too much and for how long can they sustain at that level of ph? For example if my ph during veg is at 5.6 and raises over time to 6.2 can I just let them stay at that level for good? Then my last question, sorry for so many, lets say its been 10 days or so and I want to dump and start with a fresh rez. I would start my ph low and let it build up all over again, correct?I think it's valid and you're probably right in that it's targeted for either beginners or people who don't like constantly checking and correcting the pH. I understand 6.2 ph is a safe stopping point on the high end of the spectrum, and 5.4 on the low end.I want to open up into what you said before, how some of those elements are at their peak with ph in the 6's. I've had great rebukes with nova bloom the entire grow, and the ph perfect. But I still ph to around 5.8, then after I add the nutes usually pulls it down to around 5.5 and I let her swing up. I just didn't know if I had to even worry about that. It says long as it's like 4.5-7.5 the ph perfect will work but I just don't trust it that much.I haven't used those specific products but I've heard good reviews and bad reviews on the AN pH perfect line and I wouldn't recommend Floranova for hydro but I also think it's possible to run any nutrients with great results if you have a grasp on them and get them dialed in. I'm really liking the CES 3 part right now and it's very pH stable but it still rises in my flood and drain system and I've heard that about the PH Perfect line as well but as I stated I have no personal experience with it.
Man when it's all right you don't have to monitor it much. It's pretty much st it and forget it. I haven't checked ph today but I guarantee that it's right about 6.0 cause it's been a couple days since the change. It'll be 6.4 ish by the time I change in a couple days. Or she drinks the bucket empty, which ever comes first.Whats wrong with just monitoring it and making adjustments as needed? I'm new at this, but it just seems like marketing for a product that is developed to make your job easier.
I've got that chart somewhere. And these buffers I think really contradict what those charts tell me. Cause it that was the case I would never get a couple of the nutrients.I think it's valid and you're probably right in that it's targeted for either beginners or people who don't like constantly checking and correcting the pH. I upgraded my water filtration too.

Lol we'll see what happens. I dont think there should be a problem with it. I hooked up the ro and ppm is so damn low. Below 10ppm, is that right????? My meter is calibrated too.Your doing great brother. But this waiting for veg nutes is new to me. Glad to see is working. I've always just popped seeds with ph water and wait till she's shed her shell and that's about when I start light nutes. Cool to see a different way.
Yea it should be close to 0ppmLol we'll see what happens. I dont think there should be a problem with it. I hooked up the ro and ppm is so damn low. Below 10ppm, is that right????? My meter is calibrated too.
Yeah I just purged for 5 minutes and my ppm is 1ppm.Yea it should be close to 0ppm
Sorry I overlooked this. It flows good. My pressure is slightly over 100psi. Steady flow, not super fast, but it's not a trickle. How much is that ro flowing?
It will take a minute to get that rez. filled up, but I have a 5gallon water jug I will be filling up and dumping into the rez to measure how much water I am putting in my rez. So basically fill and dump the water jug like 7 times.Sorry I overlooked this. It flows good. My pressure is slightly over 100psi. Steady flow, not super fast, but it's not a trickle.
I will be ordering a cheap filter that hooks onto the faucet soon. I'm tired of lugging water. And it makes me be frugal with the water. Just be careful those ro can get expensive. It throws away 3gal to make one. I always wished I could do something with the waste water.Yeah I just purged for 5 minutes and my ppm is 1ppm.
