They will pull and thats cool, but this will help keep an even light distribution to the lower levels.Idk how well those will hold. But that training is fine. I've been training mine too. There are many ways. But those might pull out as she gets stronger. Plants are looking great man.
Yea go for it. I love to train em.They will pull and thats cool, but this will help keep an even light distribution to the lower levels.
Thanx fellasBefore I see deficiencies usually they get droopy, just don't look happy and perky like they should.
You have a great strain on your hands, I'd do a good 60 day veg since height shouldn't be an issue with the training and topping so you can get a good bounty of cuts before you flip. Cloning after the flip is MUCH harder because of the hormonal change from growth to flower really stops root growth. Maybe even keep the best and do a re veg so you always have a mother for clones with no genetic drift since it's from seed. Also never flip a seedling before 40-45 days because they aren't fully developed. And be carful staking, especially during flower. Avoid disturbing and damaging the roots as that's the number one reason for herms other than of course an incorrect photoperiod or light leak. If I have to stake in the pot I try to gently roll them into the very edge of the pots but prefer to tape them to the outside of the pot if I can. I also use yo yo's or string to hold up the floppy buds if the branches won't support the weight. If you build a healthy plant with good structure and thick stems you should be fine. Silica is the best way of achieving this besides your nutes and a decent time in veg. Silica also creates almost a waxy layer on the stems that pest tend to avoid. Before you flip lollipop and get all of your clones and get rid of the inside foliage leaving fox tails to bud and you won't have any larfy and loose buds, just big top buds. I defoliate again in the 3rd week of flower removing about 20% of the leaves that are in the center or blocking a lot of light penetration. Basically grow a giant bush and then leave the top two feet to produce the biggest best buds possible because you're only going to get about 24" of really sufficient light penetration needed for top shelf meds. You are off to a great start bro. Best, Irie.I'm not sure lol never done this indoor gig. But I started slow stressing just a bit ago and snapped a few pics.View attachment 589325 View attachment 589327 View attachment 589329 View attachment 589331 View attachment 589332
Yes I think a long veg is going to be taking place. I want to maximize as much horizontal training and cropping and topping that I can get before flipping. I need many flowers on this one because I only got 6 of my 12 sites up and running. You have a great strain on your hands, I'd do a good 60 day veg since height shouldn't be an issue with the training and topping so you can get a good bounty of cuts before you flip. Thanks for tagging me I'm not a big Flo fan but I'm really interested in how your training and topping always looking for something new to try next time@chronic68
It's all good. Have fun watching. I'm learning this hydro system so enjoy the show. This is my first time topping and training but just did some reading on it and it's nothing to be afraid of. I am not claiming the idea of this training process. I read it and studied into it, and monkey see monkey do. It is really fun to try. Whenever you grow you cant wait to see the new growth every day. Doing it this way though you see growth in such a different way day by day. From what I understand is that training like this will make a really nice low and even canopy so you can get more light on more flower sights and can get better yields and quality. I am only running 6 of my 12 buckets so I will be doing a lot of topping super cropping or whatever the terminology is.Thanks for tagging me I'm not a big Flo fan but I'm really interested in how your training and topping always looking for something new to try next time
