You got it mang. Hope you have a great run with the new system. Best, Irie.Ok can we move forward from the clay effecting ph levels. I'm glad I did cycle the system prior to planting even if it's not going to effect the ph. 1. I had read it was a good idea to do. 2. I had a bad pump on the system and glad it was discovered prior to planting. Ok so next time I won't say I'm doing this because of ph, but because I want to have a safe/trial period testing system before planting.
You're ready set for a great run with those nutes and probably more products than you actually need but I wouldn't be worried about it and would definitely give them all a go since you have them. I would only suggest running what you're not familiar with at half strength per manufacturers recommendations and check EC or ppm after adding each product to see where your total number is coming from and then you can tailor it to your needs. A general rule is supplements, nutrients in there correct 3 part order, additives and then pH. Best, Irie.View attachment 581513 View attachment 581514 View attachment 581515 these are the nutes I have to use for this grow. I'm open to suggestions as I need to be getting prepared for the early veg. I have only used gh 3 part. I'm kind of curious about these others. However nutrients is something I am new to and don't have confidence with. Please don't suggest another nute right now, my budget is definitely tapped out.
So I would mix my 3 parts of nutes. Dont over do it on the nutes, make it weak so that way I can adjust and fine tune it with other parts like sugar daddy? Or did I totally just muff that up? I know I'm not waiting that long before introducing nutes. Lol not this time anyways.I have found this info.
SEEDLING (2-3 weeks...look for 4-5 sets of alternating nodes before moving to veg)
N 150
P 100
K 150
Ca 75
Mg 75
S 25-50
Fe 15
Cl 15
Mn 7
Cu 9
Zn 3
Total: 600ppm
Thank you for the support and interest. I hope this journal is a good read.I can't wait to see what you pop! Looks like it's gonna be a good one. I got my popcorn and beanbag and I'm watching this closely! Always excited to see others grow their way!
Sorry hope I didn't sound like a dick. You got it mang. Hope you have a great run with the new system. Best, Irie.
Depending on how much the supplements bring up the ppm depends on how much base you can run, assuming you have a goal for your total ppm final number. Since you're running seedlings maybe only supplements and micros to start and what ever additives you have that will help your rooting babies get a good start. You won't need much of anything for the first couple of weeks and gradually up the nutes until you have them in full veg. Supplements, Nutrients, Additives and then pH, or S.N.A.P. Not at all the topic got switched to pH fluctuations and that wasn't your issue.Sorry hope I didn't sound like a dick.
I appreciate all the support. Not at all the topic got switched to pH fluctuations and that wasn't your issue.
I think 600 is a little high especially since you're using RO. Ok, like double what you need lol. I'd ease the babies in at no more than 300ppm. Best, Irie.I have found this info.

No worries and I think you're going to kill it as you seem to get your information before you jump in and start having problems like most of us do lol. I admit that I'm a recovering chronic over feeder and overwaterer.I appreciate all the support.

I want it to be quality as possible, and a good yield of course. I'm trying to be picky and very ocd. I know they are weeds and thrive naturally, but in the end the quality will depend on the grower and conditions, which we try to control. The whole feeding and nutrients thing, I definitely lack the confidence. I try looking into it, but seems so overwhelming. I would like to use the gh 3 part as I am semi familiar with and have that confidence. I would like to incorporate the sugar daddy as it's supposed to help root development. However how much do I add? Is it ok to mix it with the gh. Just mix the three parts gh weaker while in seedling and measure the ppm and then if room for sugar daddy add a little until ppm is at 300?No worries and I think you're going to kill it as you seem to get your information before you jump in and start having problems like most of us do lol. Do you have any good sources/reference/links that may help me a understand the additives and suplements?Depending on how much the supplements bring up the ppm depends on how much base you can run, assuming you have a goal for your total ppm final number. Nvm. I have done a ton of reading, and have gained confidence. I got this my forum friends. Stay tuned and I will move forward with picture updates regularly. I will try to be as informative as possible with my grow. It is my belief that by doIng this should help as maybe a reference in the future. I hope everyone forgives my "rookieness". Please stay tuned periodically, and enjoy.
I love it.See, you got it. I'd be focused on root development at the moment as that's where you can really help them and not nuke em right of the rip. Use any supplements for early growth you have and see where that brings your ppm's and then a very light dose of nutes and then check again and you might have to cut it with more water if you are too high. I'd probably leave the first part of your GH out which is mostly N, right? And then add your additives which generally don't raise the ppm but affect your pH and then check ppm and pH and most of the solution should be focused more on establishing a good root system and stem walls and cellulose. Once you get a few weeks in, maybe even 4 then slowly start bringing up the 3 part without burning them and at this point you'll have your feeding schedule down and you'll know what your products do to your ppm and pH and effectively know what the bulk of the ppm is coming from in your final number or ratio. Best, Irie.
I have the seedlings in sprout right now. Should be in buckets before too long. New pumps and controller bucket showed up today. I will update you folks with pictures in a few days. Thanks for the interest. Stay tuned.soooo.... Hows it all looking mate came arross this a few days ago but was unable to get on the net to see how ur going
