Yo bro, I have like 15 cfl's on mine. Can't use the hps cause it might get to hot in that closet of mine lol. The total watts is around 350. I know that there are alot of people out there who use the cfl's, I've been happy with my results. I'm just growing for me. Peace Out.I was looking at lights for this size tent would a Mars hydro 300w reflector light (the green ones with switch for bloom and switch for veg) be efficient or would I have to add another 180 watt led or cfls to help it? Because I'm really trying to stay away from HPS or MH I feel like it's too hot in my lil tent. I know I've repeated my self threw out this thread but I'm really trying to get a good yield instead of a decent one with cfl. Just lmk

Feel me why smoke somethin that's sight when for a couple more dollars you can get bigger and better plants then in the end having more product for yourself.
I mount mine on poles so that I can adjust them any way I want. But i'm gonna look into one of those 150 to 200 watt systems. I grow only one plant at a time. I wish I had more room. One of my main concerns about all these hanging lights is them bumping into each other and smashing. I'd be tight af lol
Just a little tip , don't mess with autos. Meaning other than very...very LST , no pinching ,topping , fimming, transplanting etc.Yea you may have shocked it for a couple of days. If i'm not mistaken. I pinched my auto and it took a few days for her to recover and start growing again.
Does any one know any strains that have strong colors in their genetics like reds,pinks,or blueish tint. Not really a purple fan but if it's something worth trying to grow I'll give it a try. And if you do who is the breeder or company of the seeds thanks my fellow farmers.
I see you are worried about heat in the tent if you go hid. Go with a 400 watt digital ballast hps/mh with a long enough lamp cord to mount it ouside of tent. For the hood , just use something aircooled. Ive seen those cool-tube hoods for like $25 used on kijiji and eBay.
