My name is Tif and this is my first grow. I am using an Aerogarden Farm 24XL in a 4' x 2' x 5' tent. So far my girls are doing very well. They are 38 days old today and seem to be thriving now after some minor issues. But I will let the experts be the judge of that. I am looking for any advice on where to go from here. I know soon they need to go into flower as my space is not very big and not to mention.....I put three of them in there, which is way to many. LOL I am thinking of moving the two small ones out into another tent and just leaving the big one by herself and centering her in the middle. Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. For anyone looking to start growing, Just Do It Already, it's absolutely Amazing. Nothing like being at Peace with the Girls and In a hectic world, ☮ is always nice. Not to mention this great forum has so much information to help you get started.

The Nutes I am using is the GH Flora Grow, Bloom, Micro, Calimagic and Hydroguard. Water is filter with a Zero Water Pitcher and Ph balanced to 6.3-6.5 once the nutes have been added. In the beginning I had a hiccup and didn't calibrate my PH Meter so that had an effect the Beast but she recovered quickly as I knew something wasn't right. So now I am a Helicopter Mom with my Ph levels, always ensuring they are on point. Also I did top the Beast and she did well through it. That was about a week ago. The other two I did not top because I am thinking I need to go into flower in the next couple days or so and the littles aren't big enough and won't recover in time. I do water changes once a week and add fresh PH balanced water throughout the week when needed. The girls are on a 20/4 light cycle. The temp in the tent stays around 77-80 degrees sometimes 82 just depends on the day. Humidity ranges from 50-60%. Hopefully this info helps with any advice you can offer. Thanks to anyone who views this post.

Hi There,
Hope you are doing well. I didn't find any info on this site for the using the Aerogarden Farm. I found it on the web, that's how I got the idea but they were using a Bounty. I followed the tips and tricks and nute schedule they offered. With the help of the that site and the people on this forum, Ive had my first successful harvest. I harvested a week ago and I am Super Happy with it. Anyhow, I may be able to help you. I have 4 Aerogarden farms and I truly enjoy them.

I have the Farm 12 XL so I’m hoping the 36” height and size will make for good yields. I will probably only grow 2 plants at one time. What are you expecting for yield? Also, I emailed the guy who wrote the aeroweed.info guide. Nice guy. Here is what he wrote when I asked him about any specific tips:

“Nothing special related to the grow height.
Ok course, you will have to adjust the nutrient schedule according the quantity of water in the Farm XL reservoir.”

Here's what I suggest. Modify the Farm to extend the height. See pic below for Mod I did on mine. I removed the two middle bars on the bottom. Got some risers for a bed on Amazon for 20 bucks. This will give you an extra 13". I have a total of 48.5" to the bottom floor to the bottom of the light.

I grew 2 plants in 1 Farm - two times and each time, one plant gets drowned out by the other. I suggest only one plant. Each farm I have only has one plant per. Then do the LST on the plant to make a Sea of Green. The 2nd pic is Green Crack in which I did LST with and the girl is still out of control.

Most Nute schedules are for a single gallon so adjust according to 2 gallons as that what the tanks are. If you go light on the nutes, it's ok. Better light then heavy. I am sure you know, keep your PH within range, fresh PH balanced water in between water changes, temp and RH in line and you are good to go. I also bought some extra grow lights from Amazon, they clip on so they are perfect for the sides of the Farm.

My first harvest was 54 grams from a bag seed. LOL. Smells super nice but don't know what it is. I am hoping my Blue Dream Auto that's almost ready will yield at least 3oz. But I will be Super Happy with whatever. 🥰

Wow! That is one plant? And 2-3 oz to me is worth the effort. Can you share what fans and lamps you got from Amazon? If your setup is working I would like to replicate it as best as I can. Also, was the grow tent from Amazon? I appreciate all your help really I do.

Hi Pete!!!
Yes that is one plant. Pretty crazy huh. Maybe it's all the loud music they rock out too, LOL. I will gather the links for you of all the items I purchased and any tips and tricks for you and post later this evening. I am Happy to help and share any info or knowledge I gained. I hope you will share your progress as you go.

Good Morning Pete,
Happy Thursday!!

Here is the list and links. Sorry it took longer than expected. Also don’t forget to use PPE like gloves and safety glasses when mixing and working with the nutes. I had a couple splashes to the eye and thank god for my safety glasses - Safety First =)

Also you don’t to buy all of these items, you can do it in steps as the stages of the plant. I did not buy everything at once. I bought as needed through the life of my plant. Plus shopping on Amazon everything comes pretty quick.

Let me know if you have any questions. Happy Growing!!!

Items I purchased for my AeroGarden Farm grow.

Clip on lights – if you can purchase 2 one for each side.

Fans – purchase 2

Exhaust - keeps smell down

Grow Tent

Air pump to aerate the water – it's a must.

Netting to help with the structure of the branches as they grow bigger.

Pruning sheers – love these- great when topping the plant. I am going to Super Crop my next couple of plants so these are a must.

PH Meter

PH Meter / PPM Combo – I purchased this but I really do not use the PPM meter. In growing they talk a lot about PPM EC stuff but what works for me is: Keep your PH balanced and water changes every 7-10 days, watch your temp and humidity. If my humidity drops, I just wet a hand towel and hang it in the tent. I have yet to buy a humidifier. And yes these things fluctuate but in nature nothing is perfect or is it!!! LOL

Water Jugs – buy 2 – these make it super easy to fill and do water changes.

Temp/RH Bluetooth meter

You will need these to train the plant – if you go that route. I like to – Gives a nice Sea of Green

Risers for modification

Nutrients

A must – protects your roots – your roots will look like silk with this stuff.

PH water balancer

These are great for measuring nutes – reusable

These are good for using PH Up or Down as you don’t use a lot.

When you get closer to harvest – you will need this to look at your trichomes

Extra goodies

For harvest time – love this bin

Microscope – this is a fun gadget for looking at the trichomes and buds after harvest

Now THAT is a complete list. I think I am going to buy a tent and do a Hydro setup inside without the Aerogarden Using your list as a starting point.

I have a tent, vent kit, fans, lights, nutes, and some seeds in the mail. Gonna try 2 plants in that size tent. GDP and OG Bubba Kush.
