Hey All,

I'm just about to flip my room of Casey Jones to 12/12.

I'm running 2 CAP ebb and Grow systems. So far, they're awesome! This is my first time doing hydro, and I've got a silly question:

Do I feed when the lights are off too?

My girls are getting pretty tall (24-30") and sucking up a lot of h20.
I Can't imagine letting them go 12 hrs with no water, but I don't want mold or PM either. What's normal for ebb & flow systems?

Also, how many times day should I feed for?

Thanks, y'all!

how often are you watering now? you wont want to start watering them less...

I dont use hydroton as a medium, but I remember a friend saying he floods every 4 hours in his table with dog kibble.

I'm doing hydroton--

we've been doing 4 feeds over the course of 19 hours, about one every 4.5 hrs.

So, doing waterings every 3 hrs while lights are on, and 12 hrs without would be bad?

I'm confused.

Feed in the dark or not?

I would do a cycle during lights out. Your plants are seriously transpiring during lights out. In my system they drink quite a bit during lights out. More then a gal per plant up to 3. The RH % is not going to change that much during lights out because you water them. JK

My bad on letting this conversation go.

So, to sum up: yes on feeding with lights off? How many times?

How many times total a day should I be feeding?

I've got them in 2 gallon pots with hydroton, some of them are pretty tall, like 4-5 feet, others more like 3 ft. They are 2 weeks into flower now.
