First time grow in zone 9b, lets learn from my mistakes

the reveg has finally sorta stabilized. I’ve had them in this bin just to keep them out of light. I couldn’t get them over 54 so I put a little bowl of water in there for a few hours. Now to leave them alone for month and hope they smell better

the cheese was reading at 70ish rh in bags so I took it out and put the buds and trim in separate paper bags to think about what they’ve done.

Got the candy plant trimmed yesterday. Smells like sour candy. Didn’t get a weight, similar volume to the other so probably a qpish

Started trimming the purple plant. I’ll have to get a pic tomorrow, some of the purple leaves have dried up and turned blue.And a better pic of the buds

I’m nose blind, and every time I move a branch it smells like rotten fruit. Almost papaya like. If you eat them we can’t be friends.

It’s wild how the four plants I’ve managed to make to harvest have such different buds. This purple one is much darker green and hairy. Candy is just light green. Cheese is bright green and orange. And the citrus is..fluffy.

Harvested my serpent cucumbers. Big haul

Ripped the plants up, spread some of my home made compost (3 month birthday yesterday, early but it was already half rotted when I started.)

Gonna water and turn for a couple days and plant some broccoli or something. I’ll let the kids decide.

Rolled my first joint of semi cured tangerine weed. The reveg. Not impressed lmao.

Wish I could say it was sticky, or smelled good, but it was not I think I’m stoned though? Hard to tell..

Sorry to hear it wasn't the best smoke, sometimes it just be like that when there are issues . Years ago I had a few jars of a pheno I just did not like, and it was my emergency jar whenever I ran out of weed because I wouldn't smoke it otherwise haha. Looks like you have a few others on their way though, I am sure they will bring you better luck!

Thanks man. This plant was a little larfy so I had low expectations but man, it smelled so good when it was fresh.

The others are looking much better. I’m fucking lazy and had left half my purple plant on the table. Even being super dried out it smelled dank.

Bagged it all. Trying to get the humidity right. I have a couple ounces left of weed I didn’t grow, gonna work thru that and let this stuff cure.

Okay having some troubles with the cure.

My bud got hella dry, big surprise. Not tripping too much as I’m a rookie. I put some moist cotton balls in paper towels and left them in the bags for a day to hydrate. Took them out, wiped the expose part of the bag, and close them up. Shits still pretty high. Not like dangerously high, but it’s up there. Have them a few more days, still didn’t correct, So now I’m burping grove bags

I’m gonna leave these open, if it doesn’t come down a bit I have 2 ounce bags (I just had a little baby yield be gentle ), I can dump the one ounces in there and hopefully it will work

Other news, I smoked a little bowl of that candy plant, and it tasted phenomenal, even in my dirty little bong, and being half cured

Hey, those boveda packs (62%) are incredible, if you find the cotton ball is too much. I had some jarred stuff that was sitting at 50%. Put those packets in the jars and it has never dropped below 62% again. Just letting you know they definitely work.

They are 2 way moisture packets. Pull and release it as needed.

yeah they’re great! I used to buy a bunch when I would buy pounds to sit on. Just trying to avoid buying more shit lol.

I think if I can let them get a little lower, they will regulate. If not I’m smoking dry weed lol which I’m not worried about, just want it to store well.

Yeah living with my in laws, got like 5 acres they’ve done nothing with lol. it’s a nice slate. Probably gonna move soon, trying to see how much more I wanna invest.

The reveg plant balanced out okay, the bag aren’t packed as full. may be the issue. I’ve read they’re supposed to have 25% head room. They’re also ounce bags and I weighed it all
out
