Prepping the dry space! Wash bins cleaned, racks set up, thermometers in place.

Got some scissors, some bins, no patience.

Damn I hope you can get the temps to where you want them. I know you have thought of all the obvious solutions, I was wondering if you could throw some sheeting up behind the windows as extra blocker. If it were my situation running the AC wouldn’t even be an option, but if I could I would. How hot is the hottest so far?

not super hot but hotter than I want.

I stole a light outlet fan to put in the ceiling and some black out curtains. So it’s darker. But still pretty hot.

I feel like it’s better to harvest now and figure out the heat than to let the bud over ripe

Almost the same! Maybe a coworker has a portable AC laying around that you can sponge for a couple of months. I don’t know if you can rent them. You can probably live without it But would be nice to have as a back up! Figured it would be cooling off by now down there! The plants love it! Couldn’t ask for better! I won’t be drying for quite a while. I’ve got an Inverter window AC in the bedroom! My drying room! L O L

had a high of 70 for 3, maybe 4 days? then right back to it. Such a tease.

I realized I have like five different humidifiers but I’m worried it would make the room too sticky feeling with how how it is? thinking like weather in the south

Yeah, it might! Without AC. I may try a humidifier this year. I don’t know! I’ve done all right Without one! All you can do is try different things. The usual! Open the room up at night to Cool her down! Then close it up tight during the day. Might help! In my opinion, you just want to try and get at least four or five days out of a dry! But you take what you can get! That’s a good size room! I think you can get by without any fresh air exchange during the day! Seal it up! Then open it up at night.

If it’s humid at night, the plants may re-absorb a little moisture to make up for what they lose during the day! May balance out nicely!
