Well we discovered that something is off.. that’s why I’m here trying to get help.. I’m trying my best. It’s my first grow
Not meant to disparage, I'm trying to help.

I don't see any environmental info. Or maybe I missed it.

Lights?
Temp
RH
airflow
etc.

How much does the plant drink in a given time?

They type of hydroponic i have does not have a draining system unfortunately. So I just pour it out and wash the base and then add fresh water and nutrients. I think me and her are both stressing each other out.
Yes I've used the bounty before. Get a cheap siphon from Wal-mart to drain it. If you're following the aeroweed feed schedule drop nutes about 10%. You're killing the water's ecosystem every week.

Well those questions were answered before hand in the first weeks of my grow. But I have a built in led light. I recently brought more lights but they are ass. I keep lights at 20 on 4 off. The temp like I said previously I’m not sure exactly what the temp is. I have two pumps a built in one and one that I also brought for my oxygen to her roots. I have not been able to buy a grow tent or anything like that just yet..

Finally someone who uses that !!! A siphon ? How do I use that I saw it on the list but I omitted it because I thought I could just pour it out .. instead of removing the water by squeezing it out . But how does that drain ? Am I not removing all the water by using the siphon ? And yeah I was following the nutrient schedule that they gave me. And killing it by constantly dumping it or? The nutrients ?

She recently has been drinking a lot of water to where it is very noticeable but I can’t say exactly how much I try not to open her lid and bother her too much . And I have schedules where I check her and leave her be for the remainder of her light cycle

Siphon will have one end in the water, and one at a lower level in a bucket to drain. Most have a hand pump. You'll pump it a few then the water will be pulled out. You'll want to keep an eye on it as you'll have to make sure the tube gets most of the water by lightly pressing it towards the bottom of the tank at the end of the drain. They should have instructions on whatever version you buy.

The constant dumping is stressing her out, and killing the beneficial bacteria. Imagine the grim reaper taking you to your grave plot every week, lol. I'm sure that's how she's feeling. The roots will always be a bit tinged yellowish brown from the GH micro in such a small system. I found in my experience that you can dial back the nutes a little until flowering on the aeroweed schedule when growing autos.

Also are you mixing the nutes in the water before you fill or after? Always mix before filling it up.

Without getting too technical, it sounds like your VPD is off which causes increased respiration which causes more water to be drunk which causes more nutes to get sucked into the plant.

Without knowing your leaf temps, RH, and temp - this is a guess.

If this is a thing you plan to continue doing, getting your environment under control will likely make you a much less anxious grower - things just go along better.

Thank you so much for this . I mean I’m very defeated non the less because this is something that could’ve been avoided.. but I didn’t know like I said this is my first time growing .. I just wish I caught this sooner or knew sooner. So just what to suck the water out and don’t clean it so she can keep the beneficial bacteria that she needs. Yeah I was following the schedule I’ll just only do half. Maybe not even that.

I would mix before filling it up but when I would do this I found that I would have to add more water because it wasn’t enough water . So I thought that would mess the solution up by diluting it too much

I don’t know how to check those things I don’t even know what VPD means if I’m being honest. I know how important humidity is but I just I don’t know how and im still trying to learn I research every day but that just makes me anxious as well. I’m planning to get a grow tent so I can control this more efficiently and get better at it. I guess trial and error .

Yes, this is a learning experience, you are on the sharp part of the curve.

My guess is that if you did everything exactly the same except in a climate controlled environment, you would easily cut your problems / symptoms in half or more. And when something does come up, it is easier to diagnose since many of your bases are already covered.

VPD - Vapor Pressure Deficit - is the engine that makes the plant blood flow. If it is off, you are giving your plants high blood pressure (or low). You will figure this all out in time. Stick with it.

Only dial back about 10-20%. So 2 ml instead of 2.5. Since you already have a 2nd plant in there you can try to make it work, but unless you know the strain you're growing very well I'd never run 2 in that small of a system. I use the farm 24xl now and still only run 1 per tank. You need to know things like height on the strain. If she outgrows the lights you'll have to train her to more width, and with a second plant it'll be tough.

Keep at it. It definitely gets easier with experience. Message me with any further questions.
